Great toothbrush, looks good in the bathroom and the handle cushioning seems unlikely to come apart like my last oral b toothbrush did. It’s definitely a lot quieter than the older model I had and the battery life is loads better….had it around 10 days and still doesn’t need a charge.The 4 different brushing modes are good features but I feel it’s a bit of a faff opening up the app every morning to connect it if you want it ‘guided’ and I’ve found it to be hit & miss for connecting without opening the app (unguided) - opening apps is really something I think to do at 5am!Although once connected you can check how much charge is left, the 2 minute countdown timer is pretty handy and you can see when you use too much pressure - the handle also changes colour when ... MoreGreat toothbrush, looks good in the bathroom and the handle cushioning seems unlikely to come apart like my last oral b toothbrush did. purchased my Oral B pro 3 toothbrushes a few months ago and I couldn't be happier. There were two brushes and handles in the set and one charger. I kept the pink handle for myself and gave the black handle to my son. My toothbrush runs for about a week before it needs recharging which is excellent. It recharges easily and quickly via the charger supplied and I only needed to add a shaving plug. The brush has a few useful settings but I use the basic 1st one the most. It brushes my teeth extremely well and they are looking cleaner for it. My son is also happy with his and I consider it of very good value for two handles. I was so pleased in fact that I have purchased a second set.

Amazing Toothbrush

I bought this around 6 weeks ago and it's been a game changer for me. I don't usually go for electric toothbrushes as I worry they will by brushing to hard my teeth will become more sensitive and I end up brushing way to lightly to avoid sensitivity but with amazing features like the pressure sensor that glows red when you brush too hard and glows white when you brush to lightly and green when the pressure is just right, that is a thing of the past. The battery usually lasts around 18 days between charging but is said to last around 14 days on the pack so you should always get at least 14 days. One of the best features of this brush is the Bluetooth and iO Smart App which shows which part of the mouth your are cleaning turning blue to white as you move around your mouth and when done grades your cleaning and gives you tips to improve. It also gives specific cleaning routines for things like gum disease or bad breath. I was always the person who couldn't understand how someone could spend more than £30 on a toothbrush but this has Completely won me over as I feel its completely worth it for a huge improvement to your dental health.I would reccomend this product to all of my friends and family for daily cleaning but if you experience any sensitivity or bleeding gums this will be amazing for you.

Cool Looking brush

I was bowled over by the Oral-B Electric toothbrush in the early 1990's and I've been a keen user ever since, upgrading to the latest model whenever available, with clear incremental improvements from each new model. So I've just bought the Oral-B iO9 to replace my Genius-X. It is still early days, but overall I am underwhelmed and wonder whether it is really such a big improvement.Positives for me: a) Charges much faster; b) Quieter in use; c) Fresh look (but nothing wrong with previous model; d) At last you can change brushing mode without having to switch power on. Negatives for me: a) Larger toothbrush & head - not so great for my small mouth; b) Loss of smartphone holder in travel case; c) Loss of rubber grip on handle - more easier to loose grip in wet. Excellent Toothbrush

I bought this to replace my Oral-B Series 9000 Genius toothbrush. The iO9 just seems like a really slick evolution of what was their flagship toothbrush. It feels like I have been to the hygienist. I use it with Colgate Max White catalyst toothpaste and it leaves my mouth feeling absolutely sparkling and my teeth feeling polished.It is very solidly built and has a good weight to it. the addition of an LCD colour screen really makes this feel like a premium product and, when you finish brushing, so long as you have exceeded two minutes, you get a nice smiley face together with your brushing time displayed (it will be sad if it's less than 2 mins - you have been warned!).The toothbrush has bluetooth so can sync with your phone to keep record of how well you are ... MoreI bought this to replace my Oral-B Series 9000 Genius toothbrush. It also has several programmes to choose from, including sensitive and even tongue cleaning modes.The charging base is magnetic, replacing the old style where the toothbrush sat on a raised lug on the charger, meaning that the bottom of the brush could get quite gunky, but not anymore.The only thing I can't comment on is battery life as I have only used it around five times (it's at 90%) but I'm paranoid and if going away for more than a few days I would take the charging lead to plug the travel case in and charge it, just in case.The heads are unique to the iO9 so if you currently have an Oral-B toothrbush, don't expect to be able to use and left over heads you may have, this is a completely new toothbrush and not just an updated model.If my opinion changes I will update the review, but so far, very very good. i have used Philips Sonicare and Oral-B for years and this is the best so far and seems to blend the best of both brands.

Great but expensive

I’ve had this amazing toothbrush (black onyx) for a couple of months now and my teeth have never felt cleaner! I love the way it tells you if your brushing too hard or if you’re brushing just right. I love the smiley face when you brush for the 2 minutes and the sad face if you don’t. I love the different settings it has. I use “gum care” most often because my gums are sensitive. There’s so much to like about this toothbrush, I recommend this to anyone looking for an electric toothbrush that isn’t loud and that works great! The only thing I don’t like too much about it is the price! But it is worth it, if you can afford it. I love that they work with Affirm so I could make 4 equal payments!

new level of toothbrushing

I was given this as a gift. I have always been a fan of electric toothbrushes however i had the mindset that they were all the same so always opted for the cheapest on offer.I charged this overnight. Not sure how long its suppose to take but for me, charging overnight is perfect.I popped my toothpast on and went to brush as normal however a light flashed up and it turns out my normal turned out to be too hard! I then lightened my brushing and this was also light up as too soft. I now brush properly as the light tell me so! how fantastic!there is also a indicator to tell you when to change brushes and you can change the settings to suit for daily brushing, sensitive gums etc.Comes with a travel case too which i actually just store my brush in when im not ... MoreI was given this as a gift.
