For years we have been looking at movies and gender from the Male Gaze. I believe this has come about from an issue of Male dominance in the North American movie sector. I take just one accidental gulp of foam and upon dropping my hands to remove the Oral B tooth brush it proceeds to splatter foam all over my mirror and face. If it were not for that exquisit moment in Birdgerton when the camera rests but for a second on a matted toothbrush, I might not be giving this a five star review. Its remarkable you can make a grumpy girl laugh first thing in the morning!

This is the first IQ brush I’ve bought. I previously had the Genius and was really happy with that, however, it died on me after 18 months, so I needed something new. This brush is totally different to anything I’ve used before, it sounds different, feels different, kinda like an electric car vs petrol is the only thing I can think of, but in a good way. I thought I needed to barely hold my brush in a kinda limp hand and just brush my teeth lightly, so I was surprised when I got the app and it kept telling me to press harder! This advice had been given to me from my dentist, so I'll have to clarify from her why she gave it to me, but I think I’ll continue with brushing slightly harder. I bought this in Feb 2024, replacing an older Oral B toothbrush that was louder and the rubber buttons were coming off, but cleaned very well. This toothbrush is a joke. I can clean my teeth better with my fingernail than with this brush. I've now tried two brush heads, both the original and the gentle (as recommended by my dentist), and both have the same result: noticeable fuzz left at both the gum line and on the side enamel of my teeth. You know that smooth, clean feeling on your teeth? Well, even after brushing for over four minutes at a time, pressing both in the green, or even in red, I will still have fuzz on my teeth. Also, the brush head has holes in it which does not allow for any seal. Therefore sliver and paste foam run down the head, down the shaft, all over my arms and clothes. There is no way to stop this mess since there are giant holes in the thick shaft. I can’t even really figure out why these ventilation type holes are in the head. Finally. The clean option does not stop after two minutes. No matter the clean or the white selection, the brush just never turns off. I put a timer at the start of the brushing and it’s gotten up to five minutes and just never stops running. I am 100% regretting moving from Phillips.
