While I think this is a nice feature it isn’t some thing that I am necessarily going to use. If you need extra instruction and help with better brushing this feature will be great for you. After turning on the get started brushing you will see as set of upper and lower teeth. The toothbrush actually knows where in your mouth you are brushing and for how long and will turn the quadrant to white when its time to move. Afterwards you can track on the app days brushed, time, and collect medals for good dental care. It takes a little getting used to but now I find myself having to use it because I want to do good. After brushing my teeth I found they felt a lot cleaner than anything I had used before. It kind of felt like after a cleaning at the dentist. The multiple settings allowed me to gently do my gums for good gum care. What minor things I did not like but have nothing to do with the brushing experience is That the case it comes with is too short to allow you to put the brush away in without pulling off the head . There is no cover for the head if you want to leave it on the charger. The head goes on pretty snug and not that easy to pull off . Also I am surprised that such a high tech item that once the battery loses its ability to recharge that the whole thing needs to be thrown away. It also works as an indicator through which you receive immediate feedback regarding your brushing pressure. I've been using a different brand's electric toothbrush for a few years now and this toothbrush absolutely blows it out of the water. For starters, it has a sleek, black look with a small charging base, so it doesn't take up much room on the sink. The toothbrush has 5 different settings to brush with. Daily Clean, Intense, Sensitive, Super Sensitive, and Whiten. I've been sticking with Daily Clean and this is the cleanest my teeth have ever felt. There was a bit of a learning curve with it. The brush head and bristles are about twice the size of my other toothbrush's. This meant I couldn't fully close my mouth when using the brush, so it makes quite a bit more mess. You sync the toothbrush to your phone through bluetooth with a quick and simple process. The app will show how much of your mouth you have cleaned per session, how much pressure was applied, and how long you've brushed. It keeps a history of your brushing sessions as well and provides plans for certain goals. However, my wife and I use the same toothbrush and just change out the brush heads. The brush heads even have icons at the bottom to differentiate between them. Yet the app does differentiate. If she brushes using the app on her phone, whenever I connect to the brush it will sync her brushes to my history and vice versa. The app will also sometimes incorrectly determine which section of your mouth you are brushing, which leads to longer brush times if you're trying to get 100% coverage on the app. But I'm willing to overlook this issues and still give the toothbrush itself 5 stars as my mouth has never felt cleaner!
