It does exactly the same cleaning job on the teeth as the so called top of the range Oral B toothbrushes but without all the gimmicks which are advertised on the really expensive models. No you can't connect to phone, and yes you have to slot the brush onto the charging unit not place it as on the 300 brush. My old oral B electric toothbrush suddenly stopped working and many of the new ones have blue tooth in them. Who needs blue tooth in toothbrush. I already am ninja at cleaning my teeth. This toothbrush is an excellent electric toothbrush, its a taste colour, comes with a compact carry case and charger and with a polishing white toothbrush head. It arrived quite quickly - even with the postal strikes. The price was the best online or in the shops even with Black Friday. If you want a toothbrush that is electric, with a carry case and is tastefully white. This is the one to buy!

I purchased this particular model because it had the features I wanted (lithium battery and pressure sensor) for a good price. It cleans well and I am particularly happy with how well it cleans my wisdom teeth, which my dentist said I wasn't cleaning well enough with a manual toothbrush. Minor issues are that the on/off button isn't very tactile and the charging light just goes off to indicate full charge (which might just mean the charger's not connected properly). The travel case seems cheap compared with the rest of the product, but it should do the job. Overall, the things that matter most are all good so it deserves five stars.
It is good replacement for my more advanced but broken toothbrush. Has 3 cleaning options daily, sensitive and whitening. However, you would not see which option you are using - so this is drawback. It is timer - you will feel it after every 30 second the pause, and longer pause after 2 full minutes. Red ring light appers ehen you push too hard. The material of the toothbrush is easy to clean which is improvment.

We were keen to get a model that used a lithium ion battery, as we found those that used Ni-Cd batteries tended to lose charge capacity very quickly. The Pro 3 – 3500 model has this and Oral-B claims it is good for 2 weeks of use. We’ve not had it that long but it seems to be holding up well – it’s refreshing not having to leave it on charge all the time! The toothbrush comes with three modes (daily clean, whitening and sensitive) that you cycle through by pressing the power button. The motor certainly feels a lot more powerful than our old Oral-B toothbrush making your teeth feel a lot cleaner, which is nice. However, the flip side to this is that it is very difficult to grip and keep hold of when your hands are wet. I now find myself having to reseat the toothbrush in my hand part way through brushing, which is a bit frustrating. Apart from this, we are happy with the replacement – particularly the quality and strength of the motor and the different modes which we already feel is helping to keep our teeth and gums in better shape.
Got this model to upgrade after my old basic Oral B brush died and got grubby. Love that this one doesn't have the rubber handle, I found that got gross on my old brush. This one is far more intense in terms of power and spin, and therefore louder too, but I can feel such a difference in quality of brushing. The pressure sensor light is super helpful for me. The only negative I have to comment on is that the Power Button is the only button, meaning you have to push through 3 times (the 3 different modes) in order to turn off.
I bought this as a spare but it’s not as good as my other Pro 3 Oral B electric toothbrush which has a slightly rubbery handle which is easier to grip when wet. This new one has smooth plastic handle. It has three settings whereas my other one had two. You have to keep pressing the button through the other settings to turn toothbrush off. There should be a separate on/off button. However, for £40 this one is fine. Not worth £90. There’s a brush included and a 2 pin charger but no case.

Firstly, the case clips things in too tightly, to the point that it's difficult to pull out the brush head, making it impractical to use. Additionally, no space in there for even a small tube of toothpaste - so in terms of a "travel case" it's not ideal for travelling. Lastly, the case should have a USB input on it so that I can plug in the case to charge the toothbrush. Why should I have to leave my toothbrush sitting on a stand when it's got it's own little mount inside the case? (literally the toothbrush mounts into the case as if it was charging, only it doesn't). This would make the case far more practical, and would mean things look a lot neater in the bathroom when charging the device.
I?m writing this review after being sent a free sample by Ocado and I?m very pleased they did. I?ve used an electric toothbrush for several years and thought a more expensive one would be a waste of money. I was wrong. I had no idea how primitive my old brush was. This one has made it seem like some road digger?s tool, juddering away at my teeth. The new brush is quiet and smooth and feels engineered like a Rolls Royce engine. It charged quickly and apparently that will last for two weeks. Let?s see. In the meantime it has lots of settings to try out but as I?ve said, the real impression is of a super smooth, silky power, quietly polishing my teeth. I?m a little shocked to be so impressed by a toothbrush!
