Oral B Pro Health All Day Protect Toothpaste 200g

[This review was collected as part of a promotion. ] The Oral-B Pro-Health Protect seems to be a product that provides not only protection for teeth but also claims to strengthen teeth and provides gum health benefits. The tube and packaging of the actual toothpaste is very plain and would not stand out on a shelf in the shop among the other colourful product packages. The toothpaste itself has a good consistency and stays on my toothbrush nicely. Upon usinfg the product I did find it creates a good foamy feeling to gelp clean and refresh my teeth and gums. It ssrns to cover my teeth quite well and is easy to rinse after brushing. The cap has an excellent seal which stops the toothpaste spilling over the basin. Easily dispensed. I love that this product protects all of the mouth area including gums, teeth, cheeks, tongue and removes stains. I must admit that I wasn’t overjoyed with the taste and felt that it could be a little bit more minty in flavour. Giving that fresh after taste. It did however leave my mouth feeling fresh for several hours so this is a plus. The box is recyclable but made in China is not ideal. I would prefer made in Australia. Overall a good product that lives up to its performance claims and one I would use again.

Thorough pre-bed brushing with this stops my nose from blocking while sleeping, which causes disturbed sleep, daytime tiredness, and more frequent sheet changes from the mouth breathing. I think the problem was plaque bacteria inflaming my sinuses. So while I can say that this works as an anti-bacterial, I can't prove that my previous cheaper generic toothpaste wasn't as good because I didn't brush consistently with it, and aren't keen on risking problems by running that experiment.

There was a strong Fluoride taste (that sickly-sweet smell and flavour), which I found off-putting for toothpaste. I found it hard for my mouth to feel clean after use, perhaps because I am more accustomed to the strong 'fresh breath' types of toothpaste vs. the all around protection/fluoride-heavy toothpastes. More of a personal preference, this toothpaste was not for me.

My fist day to try it I squeezed out the same amount that I usually do with other tooth paste it my mouth was full of foam. So I started to use less and all was good. I love how foamy it is and the after taste is good / better than the other ones I have used. The only thing that I wasn’t happy with its the sweetness it’s on the sweet side for me but overall it’s a good product my family and I loved it.

Unfortunately, within a couple of days of switching to Oral-B Pro-Health Protect All Around Protection Toothpaste, the sensitivity increased significantly, to the point I could not chew on one side of my mouth. I also found the flavour a little underwhelming, I prefer a stronger, mintier, longer lasting flavour. Having said that, my teeth and mouth did feel clean and I didn't get that horrible toothpaste-coffee taste when I picked up my usual caffeine fix on the way to work!I think this toothpaste would be perfect for people who don't have sensitivity issues, and prefer a milder taste. WHY ON EARTH DID THEY CHANGE THE FORMULA? This was one of the only toothpastes I liked, now it's just a watery foamy waste of time. At least provide an alternative or give us a heads up its a new formula. It's not a small change either, this is completely different.

I thought I was buying an antibacterial toothpaste as the product features the wording ‘24 hour protection’ only to discover what they really mean by the use of this catch phrase is only ‘with twice daily brushing’ There’s no antibacterial ingredients to give any form of lasting antibacterial protection inbetween brushing, at all. Bit of a play on words and cunning marketing use of a ‘catch phrase’

[This review was collected as part of a promotion. ] Am very impressed by the design of the user friendly flip top lid which is so easy to open even with wet hands. It is a big tube which will last ages. It has a very refreshing smooth mint taste which is really pleasant as it is not the bitey type of mint that sometimes aggravates the tongue. My entire mouth and teeth feel really clean after using each time. I think this could become my favorite toothpaste.
