I love this stuff! It's a great, natural product that eliminates pesky ants. It's safe around people and pets and has a very pleasant orange scent. It is a little pricey, but I find that I don't have to use much. If I find ants invading, I just figure out how they are breaking in and spray around outside. Stops them in their tracks and I feel good knowing I didn't use any nasty chemicals.

This is a good product. I have animals so I can't use harsh chemicals around them. This is ECO- FRIENDLY. It is very cheap. It has a citrus smell. I even sprayed around the dogs food bowl awhile back to keep the ants away. I would highly recommend for anyone with children or pets.

So glad I brought this and not the toxic stuff!! The more I read the labels, the worse they got! This stuff works great and no poisoning the environment, no worries about runoff going into the ocean! No toxins to my pets! Or myself!! And a pleasant smell, if a bit strong, it does dissipate soon, though. I've had issues with ants season after season. I tried bait traps, nope! They became immune to home remedies. I sprayed this around the perimeter outside my house and went to work. I haven't seen an ant since! Before, if one piece of dog food was left on the floor overnight, it would be swarming with ants the next morning! Now, my problem is to be self motivated to do the dishes at night!! LOL!

An Orange Spray Keep the Ants Away!
16 April 2014

I was skeptical at first, afterall, this spray lists that it is safe around food, pets and people yet it is capable of repelling and killing ants on contact. We have our seasonal ant invasion in our home. Ants are a year-round problem in Florida, but particularly in April, this time we were up against medium sized red fire ants and we have both a dog and 15 month old in the house. We sprayed it on the mat where the dog has his water dish and food dish - apparently, the ants hated the orange oil so much that they allowed themselves to drown rather than walk through the orange oil! The ants had entered the large dog feeding bin and were trapped inside once the spray had been applied to the mat, they crawled to the adjacent water dish and drowned by the dozens! The ... MoreI was skeptical at first, afterall, this spray lists that it is safe around food, pets and people yet it is capable of repelling and killing ants on contact. We have our seasonal ant invasion in our home. We sprayed a line across the threshold and managed to find exactly where they were coming from and where they are going. The spray made quick work of those ants, killing them on contact... others walking through the dried oil at night also ended up with the same fate as those sprayed!I love this stuff!

DON'T BUY Orange Guard
9 June 2020

Don't buy this product. this is the most useless product I've ever ever had the misfortune to purchase. great smell. Did you ever hear the phrase, "it couldn't even kill a fly ." ? Well, it doesn't kill flys , water bugs, dainty little lady bugs, and it certainly and most absolutely does not kill cockroaches . The reason I bought that stuff in the first place. I hope others will be smarter than I was.

Decent natural deterrent
5 March 2022

I have two sizes of black ants that persistently scout my tiny house (no earnest invasions as of yet). Because I don't like to use traps and kill massive amounts of ants, I am always looking for ways to keep them away that will not be toxic or bad for the environment. This product fits the bill and has a very mild orange scent which is totally tolerable in a small space. For the slightly larger ants, it does not really kill them on contact, but for both sizes of ants it discourages them from coming in. The only drawback is that it really only works for a couple of days and then it has to be reapplied.

Good product, useful but limited
28 March 2021

The product does what it’s says it does. I use it mainly to kill fire ants which invade my vegetable garden. It does kill them, but not comprehensively, and although thousands die, some survive to move the nest over a few feet. It takes a lot of spray to attack a nest of fire ants, and the product goes pretty fast. It’s better than using more poisonous sprays around food crops.

Great for Indoor Insect Control
11 September 2020

I've been using this product for years. It works very well at keeping all kinds of bugs outside where they belong. Though it is a product that is made from natural products, it does have a strong odor and will burn your throat a bit if you inhale it while spraying, so I recommend wearing a mask. Also, for the first day or two, it has an unpleasant odor (to me), but after that the smell is completely gone, so I spray small areas at a time. I spray it in corners and underneath furniture where I can leave a kind of film. The place where I notice the benefits most is in the basement around the windows and on my enclosed porch. There are usually so many spiders and spider webs that it seems as soon as I clean them and turn around, the spiders have already spun a new web. ... MoreI've been using this product for years. After spraying, this works for quite a while provided it isn't washed off. Morty (my cat) likes to sit at the basement windows and on the porch, and he is very healthy so I know it is safe. I've even used this in my detached garage with surprisingly good success.

This really helped to reduce
15 March 2020

This really helped to reduce the cockroach population in our kitchen for a month or two. Unfortunately, resistant roaches breed quickly and there is a drop-off in effectiveness after a couple months. We do have a monthly exterminator in our building so hopefully we will keep the population down. We still have a little spray left but it is not as effective as it was at firs.

Use with longer lasting Diatomaceous earth

I use this but mix with diatomaceous earth. I had a terrible flea infestation in the carpeted rooms and ants in the kitchen on a home I bought. I used if to kill the living bugs that were present, DE took care of those that came after. It took of week of spraying every day along with vacuuming but once that happened no another bug - got rid of the spiders too. I keep a bottle which i spray on my boots and pants when I'm hiking in forests or working the the garden and never had a problem since. It works really well to keep ticks at bay and is quite harmless. You can also add a free drops of peppermint oil and spray on outdoor tables before eating to keep pests away.
