I have been using Ryobi products for the last 5 years or so and find them very good. When i saw the price reduction on the sander i just had to have one and a friend of mine heard me talking about it and he wanted one as well, so ended up buying two then another friend popped in and saw them on the side the day they were delivered so he took one, and i ended up having to get myself another one.All three of us think they are very good in all aspects.

Waste of £40 on a useless product and paid £5 for delivery. Apply any slight pressure it would stop working. Then after a week of minimal use there was a blue flash on the top causing house electric to trip. The tool no longer worked. Thrown it in the bin which is the best place for this item. Could not be bothered paying another £5 to post it back for refund. I will never purchase another Ryobi product in my life time. Wish anyone who does the best of luck with their purchase.Update. Contacted Ryobi customer service to find out what their response was as it would not load up from the link sent to me from trust pilot. Apparently they updated their product line engineers re their dodgy tool. Just ordered BOSCH PEX 300 AE which I should of done at the start but ... MoreWaste of £40 on a useless product and paid £5 for delivery. Apply any slight pressure it would stop working. Lighter than I thought and less vibrations than the cordless detail Sander. Glad that I stuck to one ecosystem, which is Ryobi even though this one is my first corded product of them.overall happy with the product.

Love it. Bought it to do the bodywork on my project and so far has performed perfectly. The low speed feature works and high speed is good. I've tended to use it half way to minimise viration. I only wish it had been a 150mm head. For the price, it works well and should outlast my project.

Arrived very quick. I wish the filter had a bit more click when putting together not just a push on.

Tried, Tested and I love it

Bought this a few weeks ago as I’ve been building a complete set of garden furniture from pallets scrap wood a builder friend got for me.I knew one issue would be the finish on the pallet wood and as a result I wanted to pair my beastly belt sander with something more subtle. This has more than amazed me. I started from 60grit up to 120 on the furniture and could have almost not bothered with the belt sander at all. This sander is amazing I have used it in speed 3 or 4 and have never had to go any higher. It’s really comfortable in the hand with multiple grip options and there’s hardly any vibration cutting down on the funny hand syndrome when you finished for the day.I used it to sand flat and vertical surfaces and also used it to chamfer edges in the wood. ... MoreBought this a few weeks ago as I’ve been building a complete set of garden furniture from pallets scrap wood a builder friend got for me.I knew one issue would be the finish on the pallet wood and as a result I wanted to pair my beastly belt sander with something more subtle. This has more than amazed me. It’s a real pleasure to use. I bought good quality pads from a local builders merchant and whilst some reviewers had concerns over the hook and loop (Velcro) attachment but honestly not in the model I have no slip or fitting issues at all...The dust system is a breeze too. Really gathers dust well so much so that my Grandson was also able to do a bit of sanding with Grandad albeit in the lowest setting. It’s easy to empty and the dust filter really does a great job I didn’t even notice any real dust escaping from the unit.I had hoped this would be as good as all my previous Ryobi purchases and so far with Ryobi things just seem to get better with every purchase...Highly recommend this it’s worth every penny in my opinion you will not be disappointed.
