Orchard Toys - Shopping List Game
A fun shopping-themed matching and memory game. Players take it in turns to turn over cards showing everyday items, from tomatoes to washing powder to pizza. If they pick up a card which is shown on their shopping list, they are encouraged to say the item out loud and add it to their trolley. Older children can play more strategically by remembering where the cards from their list have been placed. The winner is the first player to collect all the items on their list and fill their trolley or basket! The game features different types of shopping lists, including paper ones and a tablet. A great way to extend learning is to ask children to recognise the different grocery items from their list and read them aloud. The game can be extended to 6 and 8 players by adding the Shopping List Extras Games - Clothes (OT091) and Fruit and Veg (OT090). Chunky wipe clean pieces, perfect for little hands to hold. Bought this for my niece, but I have it for my own children. It is a proven hit all round. Great game, can be adapted a little depending on your child age. Easy to simplify or play by the rules for older kids. My kids started playing it a basic level at 2 and at 4 and 6 are still finding it fun to play. Great quality game, durable pieces.

The shopping list game is great game which really expands your childs independence as they have their own trolley/basket and own shopping list. The point of game is to collect everything off your list first,so in their favor to pay attention! This also is a great game to expand your childs memory recall, as when another player picks up something off your childs list they then need to remember were item was placed untill there turn. I would definetly recommend this game for children between age of 3+ as my daughter loves it just have to be careful that they don't peak and cheat!

My 3 year old loves this game. Great for memory & learning shopping items. It always attracts his attention from the vibrant colours. Easy to play but can make it harder if needed.
I was desperate to send a birthday present to my little granddaughter in NSW. Due to covid, length of post from Dublin would leave Olive disappointed. Delighted with decision To order on Australian site. Olive got her Barbies within days. Well done
4 year old twiin grandchildren loved this game. They are familiar with supermarket shopping and enjoyed naming all the items on their shopping list before starting the game. This was a good start for memory building!
This is a really fun game, buying it for my great-niece. My 3-year old grand-daughter has it and we've played it with her., it was such fun. She's so good at it and has picked up the game very quickly, so I'm sure my nephew and his family will have great fun playing it too. It's a good learning game, teaching children about making shopping lists and the kind of regular things on it. Also the pack of cards accompanying it with pictures of the shopping items is good for teaching them to remember which item was on which card. The trolley-shaped game cards are fun too! Super game!
This is truly a loved game. It's easy to play (with no reading involved), but I also think up to 6 or 7 years olds may also enjoy playing it. The cards are chunky and sturdy. If I had a criticism it is that I would appreciate it if 6 players could play it in a classroom environment, but I will probably by a second game to accommodate this or by 'Shopping List Extras' and combine them together.
We bought this last week and the kids love playing (4 and 6). Basically a game of memory with shopping theme, really sturdy thick cardboard and great quality. Will be buying more Orchard Toys games to support education
