This reduces the capacity it can hold, however I've found that I can go about 5 hours between changing it when I'm at my heaviest flow and around 8-10 hours when it is lighter. I wore this overnight on day 2 of my cycle (heaviest flow for me) and I leaked a bit due to it overflowing. I wear the size A cup so I would suggest getting the bigger size if you need more time between changing. I'm also going to purchase the Merula cup (recommended for low cervixes) and use it during my next cycle so I can compare.Some tips for my fellow low riding cervix, short vagina'd ladies:• For your first time, practice inserting it while you're in the shower.• Wear a pad or panty liner during your cycle if just starting out, especially overnight• The punch fold worked best for me, with one foot on the toilet.• Once inserted about halfway, rotate it slightly while you push in. I've found this helped it pop open. Go slow.• Feel around all sides of the cup once inserted to make sure there are no dents and it has suctioned properly, also to insure it has not slid past your cervix. I inserted it one time and felt my cervix was resting against the side, so I had to pull it out a bit and readjust so that I knew it was sitting inside the cup.• Rotate if you feel it is not sitting right. Also try pulling it out a bit, then back in.• Trim the end once you get used to it. Since it rides so low in me I had to trim the stem off since it was sticking out and irritating me• To remove, bear down (as if you are pooping lolz), collapse the base of the cup with your fingers, and pull. I went SLOW to avoid discomfort. Tilt the cup while you are removing it to avoid it spilling prematurely.• Keep it clean! I purchased some specialty menstrual cup soap and wipes and I disinfected it after my period ended by putting it in a mason jar and boiling it in the microwave for about 3-5 minutes.All in all, I couldn't be more happy with this cup! I'm just starting out, so I will try out more types during my next cycle. This cup was a bajillion times better than itchy, uncomfortable pads or tampons. You put it in, and you're ready to ignore your period for the next 5-10 hours!

Used for the first time.I’ve been using period pants and these have been fine, however I am predicted to be menstruating for a family holiday and so not wish to be held hostage to the pool side / sand etc.Insertion/removal was easy after following instructions carefully. No discomfort and no leaks.I used size A despite it not being recommended for those that have given birth. I have birthed 3 children at term, and all vaginally. I choose size A based on my flow which is light. (Do consider your flow when choosing your size)I’m definitely converted to using cups rather than period pants now. I like the discreetness and ability to swim of the cup.I also managed to get it with 25% off.So happy 😁

First, I don't like how they categorize sizing. Otherwise, it is fantastic in every way. I've never been pregnant and am under 30, and the size should really be dictated by flow. B size is great for the first couple days of my very heavy flow, and I normally only have to worry about it first thing in the morning and last thing at night.Inserting for the first time was a confusing time to say the least. I thought it had to go up way further than it did You should be able to feel the pull tab thing just barely around the... entrance. The tab is actually not for pulling out, though, and I've read reviews that it can break off if you're only pulling that. I think my first cycle with it felt like a lot of trial/error, but after that it felt pretty seemless.Last, this is my 3rd menstrual cup (first 2 my fault) and they've all been through this brand.The first one I accidentally ordered in the teen size, but my cycle was starting... and I was too excited to wait until the next month to try it (between returns/shipping time without prime). I also was out of tampons and didn't want to buy a box when I was going to switch over. I actually really like the small size for that last day or 2 of super light flow. The larger one doesn't insert as comfortably at that point (not a problem and you really don't need a smaller size for that; I just happen to have the extra and like using it for that).The Second one is in this size and my dog got to it :( It would have probably lasted a lifetime otherwise. I had it long enough for it to pay itself off in tampons, so we'll call it a win.Just ordered another and was thrilled to find it on sale for around $20.

But I had to squat down in the bathroom at work to get the cup out because it had ridden up and continued to do so throughout it’s time with me. I listened to the multiple sources saying your period is lighter than you think. But I had to empty this cup every hour on heavy days. For reference, I fill a super plus tampon in less than 2 hrs on heavy days. I opted for a medium/softer cup rather than firm because I listened to sources saying for my first time I didn’t want to be ‘scared’ by the firmer cups, nor have I birthed a child, and even though I have a strong lower body I’m not active all the time or work out everyday. But my muscles frequently squished this cup causing leaks.Moral of the story is we know our bodies. I learned a lot about length, capacity, firmness etc in my research and went with an option that seemed to work for everyone else rather than seeking out a cup that met my bodies needs. For those wondering, my OB/GYN has tried to help me with my flow with various birth controls but I unfortunately have adverse reactions to hormones. I’ve accepted my flow and will continue the search for my Goldilocks cup. I hope this helps some of you out their researching/ shopping around.
This was my second menstrual cup and the first time purchasing OrganiCup. Comfortable and easy to clean (I clean the cup once a day in the sink after emptying it in to the toilet and once in the shower, easier that way). If you've never used a menstrual cup before my advice is to persevere, I tried it the first time when I didn't have work and when no one was around. That way I was able to try a few times to see the easiest way to fold / insert the cup. Once you've got a folding method that suits you, it's the best change you will ever make. Saves so much in the way of waste and not having to change it as much as tampons makes the week so much easier!

You have to bend or squat, or lift your legs in various ways until you find the way that works for you, but no matter how you fold it, the part you insert first is still wider than the thin tip of the tampon that just slides in (I literally used lubricant a couple of times to make it easier). The only other negative I can think of is that the tail could have been made longer, not so long so as to stick out of the vagina, but enough so that I don't go hunting down there with 2-3 fingers deep in there and leaving myself sore (after a hilarious/tragic 1st day experience that lasted about 15 minutes, I stopped inserting it too deeply, without compromising on leaks or comfort). That's it!

The suction was very strong, to the point that removal required intense struggle, but despite this I experienced more leakage than I ever had with a tampon. I also had to drop a second star (from 4 to 3) because of how painful the grippy stem is, but if you want to try this cup and you have more experience using cups, I've heard some people have had success with cutting the stem shorter; keep in mind that might make removal trickier if you're a newbie. At times, the stem felt like it was twisting into my flesh and I was experiencing occasional bursts of sharp pain when I bent over in a particular way.All in all, I personally don't plan on using my Organicup again but it might be a good product to try for someone with more experience. Despite my mishaps, this product hasn't turned me off of using cups in general, but I probably need to try a few more brands to find the right shape for me.

Again, reducing the total value per wear/use.I feel so much more comfortable than I ever have whilst using sanitary pads and stopped using tampons pre pregnancy due to discomfort and as the packets would always come loose and opening, being a waste of product and money, I’m so glad I will never have that problem again.The cup was easy to insert at home post shower, mainly whilst laying down for ease and convenience. However I was also able to empty and reinsert during my working day which was important to me, especially as I would hate to potentially leak,I’m so glad that I could wear it during sleep and still wake up to fresh white sheets without stains. I also feel fresher than if I was using pads which is an extremely big win for me,I honestly could not recommend enough, thank you for such a great product and description.I’ve been using it for 4days now and I can not fault the product.I could not recommend this product more if I tried or wanted too.It’s life changing and has improved my quality of life.
This is the first menstrual cup I have ever used. I generally use tampons during the day and pads at night. While it was a little difficult and uncomfortable to insert the cup the first time I tried it, the process took less than three minutes. I would imagine it is much harder to insert for people who are not regular tampon users or for people who have never inserted anything into their vaginas. However, if you are committed to sustainability or not spending money every month on pads, then give it a try. Resilience is a wonderful trait.Once the cup is inserted, I don't really feel it throughout the day, which is nice. I think it is important for me to mention that I have a pretty light flow, so if you have a heavier flow, you might have more issues with the cup (more frequent removal and emptying, more leaking, etc).Pros:-easy enough for beginners-pretty comfortable once inserted-no leaks so far (strong suction)-You don't have to worry about a wet tampon string (ex: after swimming with a tampon in, accidentally peeing on the string, etc).-it's sustainable (no more throwing away all that plastic packaging for tampons and pads)-it's cost-effective (women on average spend something like thousands of dollars on menstrual products throughout their lifetime)-It holds about three tampons worth of fluid, so even though it's not as easy to insert as a tampon, you don't have to take it out and re-insert it as much as you would a tampon.Cons:-it's more difficult to insert than a tampon (it's girthier than any tampon I've used at least)-It's probably not convenient if you have to empty it out during school or in any public place where the sink is not in the same area as the toilet. (However, given the global pandemic, you hopefully do not have to spend all day in public areas with public restrooms.)-It's a bit harder to remove than a tampon from a suction standpoint. (I find it best to pull on the little stem thing, and then try to pinch the bottom of the cup to get a better grip.)
