Love this product! I have lots of fine, ashy "bronde" hair and have tried SO many different hair products trying to find something that doesn't weigh my hair down, feel sticky, etc etc. This hair lotion fits the bill and keeps the static and frizz under control as well, which is amazing. Helps define and hold my waves when I air dry too. Will be a repeat buy for sure.

I just got this as a recommendation from a friend. I've used Oribe for the last 10 years and normally use a mousse, texturizing spray and hair spray. Using this mixed with a drop of the strengthening serum melts right into your hair. My hair is short so I don't need much or to blow dry for long. Just drying it without a brush left it thicker and with waves. Usually a mousse leaves me with some tighter curls but I liked this structured waves for a beachy look. Finished with some spray wax and I was good. Consider this for a quick no effort do!

I’ve been looking for a product like this for 15 years, since high school when I used to scrunch my hair! This is so much better than the crunchy “wet” looking gel of yesteryear. This product truly dries matte and gives me gentle curly waves that look and feel natural. No crunchiness. And smells great. I have slightly longer than shoulder length, fairly straight, flat hair. I don’t brush my hair when using this product. Just towel dry out of the shower, use about a quarter size amount and let air dry. Love the result.

For context, I have long, poker-straight, fine fair (but quite a lot of it), which has lots of layering. I was hoping to find a product I could put in my hair either wet or dry, and basically just scrunch it a bit to add some definition and make it a bit 'messy.' This product does do this. Also, it smells wonderful, and the texture is nice and silky - it basically feels quite like a conditioner to the touch. Fabulous Curls / Wave Lotion :

I’ve been using this product for years now & absolutely love it ! I’ve got fine ( but a lot of it ) coloured blond shoulder length hair and I find that the matte waves doesn’t weigh it down ! Once I’ve washed my hair, I apply 3 - 4 pumps ( along with a tiny bit of a curl mousse ) , starting at the roots, I scrunch it through my hair. I let it air dry for 45 minutes before I used a diffuser on my curls. It leaves me with ever so soft hair but also beautiful curls / waves ! I tend to find that most curl / texture lotions tend to weigh down my hair or give me a wet slick look at the roots. Fortunately, not this one. Well done Oribe. ( I find the trick with applying it is to put it through you hair as soon as you are out of the shower ! )

Fine hair approved

I didnt need this but I want to try Oribes products. I love the smell and Im happy its not overpowering for me. It smells luxury without being a headache. I love that its more like a thin serum for hair and not a spray. Sprays go everywhere and float around in the air. I used this on my lengths which were damp and it gave a nice natural wave to my hair. Prettier than when it air dries with no product. I also like how it doesnt weigh my fine hair down. Looks like another Oribe product I will keep buying!

Holy Grail

I have naturally straight hair that is long (reaches my lower back). I know this product is made for waves but I get another great use out of it. When I curl my hair I often experience a lot of fallout no matter how much hairspray I tack on. However, one time I decided I’d try to use this before curling so I could hopefully add some texture to my hair and it worked beautifully! I now use this before & after curling my hair. It feels and smells amazing and keeps my curls in place for up to 3 days! It doesn’t have that same tacky feel that hairspray does and allows my hair to move and look much more natural. Would definitely recommend even if you are just using it to tame your own naturally wavy hair.

Light weight lotion to accentuate curls.

As with all probe products it leaves your hair beautiful. I have fine hair that can become curly in humidity when layered. I bought this wave texture lotion to enhance my curls without frizz. It is extremely light weight but accentuates and leaves curls actually looking healthy.

not a wow

was so excited to use this all the reviews were so complimentary. it is a little pricey for the size and a styling lotion but the other reviews tempted me. first off I don't understand the applicator 'stick'. its absolutely pointless so I just squeezed some onto my hands and worked through. I just know that when the bottle is half empty it will be such hardwork getting it out of the bottle. so badly designed. I left my hair to dry naturally and it was super frizzy and fluffy with some slight crusty patches from the product. overall not impressed and think it was a waste of money. the scent was nice and not too overbearing.
