Haven't been able to eliminate it yet plus I need to bring it closer to me as the loud speaker volume on high is a bit low for me. Might fit an extension speaker instead.

We just wanted something so that we could travel safely. Extremely pleased with this unit. Easy installation and easy to use. It has worked well for our trips already. Highly recommended

This little uhf radio is great. Fitted up to my 4x4. Nice small size makes mounting this unit anywhere very easy. Easy to navigate through the settings and functions. Works great and has a good range. Nice clear sound from speaker.
This is an okay little radio.The audio seems nice and clear, but the screen really let's it down (it sux) some of the changeable colours really block out all the text (ie, the channel number etc) and it's just a bit strange looking, and thesub menu test is not very bold and it's just hard to see what setting you are onIt's definitely not terrible, but I probably wouldn't buy another one. that screen really let's it down, BIG TIME!
Only recieved half the kit. The antenna connection has no resemblence to the chanel speaker connections, didnt recieve any brackets to mount the box inside my vehicle, got one flimsy piece of double sided tape to mount it in my vehicle. It was a poor piece of kit. Still havent bothered to fit it due to how mismatched the kit was. Will not be buying oricom again. Dissapointment. Would like a refund
It's much easier to mount the radio as against finding where to mount the oversized fist mic!A colour OLED display would be an asset in future productions.My purchased radio had the antenna package included. A great quality antenna construction.A well packaged kit with all the required bits, and a thoughtful gesture was to leave the power plug 'unterminated' to allow ease of locating the power cable through tight locations. Bought this after reading good reviews.Plugged in and straight away no sound from the mic/speaker.Constant hissing from the unit which I couldn't get rid of with the squelch.Called customer service after realizing that it did not work properly.The ONLY saving grace was the excellent service from Daniel, who really looked after me.I am very disappointed that you cannot buy an electronic item for over $200 and it doesn't work.I'm not sure whether I would buy another Oricom product to be honest.I hope that the new one which I am waiting for doesn't have any problems,that's for sure!
Bought it after seeing a Father's Day promoTo be used for intestate car trips (as o'seas is out for a couple years), mainly for "traffic reports" from other travelers & truckies. Back up when no mobile reception available.Radio placed in the centre console "tissue box" recess of a FGX Falcon ute (still room for a pair of sunnies), antenna on the canopy RH roof rail.
Nice little unit, that has good range, good quality. I would recommend as a frequent 4wder. Was easy to install, don’t really need instructions for use. And the coil or changes are helpful
