The audio quality is poor. Usually by the time we hear something on the monitor little one has been crying for minutes and or we heard it through the door.

This is such a great monitor. The sound is very sensitive and I love the thermometer function.
Has every feature you honestly need from a monitor, not much in the way of gimmicks. Good build quality, the only reason it’s not got 5 stars is the battery life of the receiver unit.
Biggest piece of ****. From the get go the charge never held. I could get about 20 minutes of use without the handheld monitor on charge. I thought maybe the batteries were dead, so I changed them out and still no difference. A couple months in and I couldn’t use it at all without it being on charge. My baby is not even 9 months old now and the handheld monitor won’t turn on anymore. it lights up then shuts back off. Don’t waste your money.
Excellent product. The only issue thus far is that it picks up the music its playing as a baby's cry and plays an alert if parent device is on mute.
Music and sound is great. But the projector is blurry if it is less than a metre from the roof it's ok but slightly disappointed with the projector.
When I first used the monitor I was disappointed that the parent unit doesn't go into standby like others I've used that only pick up a child's voice/cry. This one has a continuous link to the child's room. This I could have dealt with but the battery life on it is terrible. I charge overnight then within an hour of turning it on the battery is low again. Overall really not impressed and wouldn't purchase oricom again.
Had issues with the first one we bought… the sound machine section wouldn’t work correctly, it would let out loud static and interference sounds. Returned that and tried another of the same product and after only a few uses the same thing happened. Not worth the money if you can not use all the features. Second product of this brand that we have had major issues with.
This is without a doubt the worst monitor we have ever used. We bought 2 of them and they are both useless so it is not just a faulty individual monitor. One is for my son's bedroom, so we can hear if he calls out in the night and use the talk back feature to soothe him if we don't need to go into the room. The other is in our bedroom upstairs and is used when we put out infant down in the early evening while we are still downstairs. Both of them have no battery life at all (reads as low battery constantly, even when taken straight off charge) and both of them are constantly beeping and flashing to advise the room is "too hot" and reading 27 degrees, when the rooms are air conditioned and always 23-23 degrees (verified by both air xon thermostat, our other Angelcare ... MoreThis is without a doubt the worst monitor we have ever used. Additionally, they are always recording, so you have to deal with the sound of white noise the entire time. To make matters worse however, the sound quality is appalling - if there is any ambient noise at all in the room with the receiver, you can't hear the baby through the monitor unless holding it to your ear. We can actually hear our baby crying clearer and easier from downstairs through walls and doors, than the sound that comes through the monitor. Honestly, they are both so pointless we don't use them. What a waste of $260. Won't ever buy Oricom again. Angelcare monitors see far superior.
