Bitterly disappointed in the Oricom Video Monitor with Remote Function Nursery Pal - Cloud OBH500. We have had to return this monitor 3x times due to camera not pairing after an all-of-a-sudden disconnection, never wants to pair again. On set up of our 3rd system the night vision is pathetic - the clarity and pixels issue/fault....so we are off to baby bunting for the 4th TIME! Not sure how this device passes their QA test. We are better of buying another mobile phone and facetiming our babys room - PATHETIC and VERY FRUSTRATING.

Received this product as a gift in exchange for a review. Requested a replacement camera, but the problem is persisting. The monitor and camera lose connection for no obvious reason. Both units are un touched, no interruption to battery or power sources, or internet disruption and still the camera disconnects. Even once restarting several times, it's luck of the draw if they manage to connect. Will be purchasing a new system as this one is useless to me.

Don't waste your money on this brand.Still fighting to return this product back to baby bunting and get a refund.Has caused me so much unnecessary stress and anxiety!DONT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!

Unfortunately I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone. As excited as I was to get this originally, we had problem after problem with the camera connecting to the monitor. Our first camera lasted 4 weeks before it just stopped working.After having to send it back under warranty (and being charged to do so) we were then sent a replacement camera. The replacement camera lasted 3 more weeks before that one also died. After establishing a pretty close working relationship with oricom support service, we gave up after the second faulty camera and returned the whole product for a refund.
We purchased this camera largely due to the features it had. We were comparing up against Cubo. Many of the features we same/similar but the main selling point was the fact Oricom is Australian. We personally like to support local companies/products. The most important features for us were the ability to have both the handheld unit and also remote access (As we’ve had many friends saying alerts on your phone are constant and annoying all night). We love the built in nightlight and the lullaby feature as this means 1-2 less other devices in the nursery (everything is an extra device these days). We are very happy with both the picture and the sound also. Worked straight out of the box. This camera sounded great and I was happy to pay a premium. I wish I’d seen the other negative reviews before purchasing, but it was new out. Lesson learnt. Unfortunately it has a number of flaws, the most frustrating being the connection dropping out constantly between the camera and screen at night time, despite wifi being strong in a small house. When the baby is finally sleeping and you’re woken up by a loud beeping, it’s frustrating to say the least. In the day time, the camera flicks between dark and light mode, making a clicking noise in the baby’s room as it does it, which often wakes the baby. Why anyone thought that would be a good idea, I cannot imagine. The app is a complete waste of time as well and I’ve given up even trying to get that to work. My youngest two children are less than two years apart, so we really needed to have a quality monitor system to give us eyes in both places. It was so easy to pair these cameras, and the split screen option is fantastic. I loved that you can also view via the app - great for when you’re doing jobs around the house or someone else is minding the kiddos. The cameras have a super easy tilt mechanism too. Big fan! The sound is great and the video is excellent. It works well in our two storey house and hasn’t lost range so far. The nightlight option on the back of the cameras is fantastic, just a nice gentle glow. The parent unit has a lovely big screen and is user friendly. Bought the monitor due to incredible, raving reviews but since being in operation for a total of less than 6 months (between all 3 monitors) the camera is so unreliable and has failed on us without warning for the third time now. The monitor presents itself with a black screen and a camera symbol that’s poses a big X on it. My daughter isn’t even 6 months old yet and randomly the camera has cut out and prevented me from watching over my child for the third time now. I tried resetting the camera and the monitor and absolutely nothing can repair them. I have called Oricom on the last two camera fails and all they do is send me a new camera with no other alternative as to how to monitor my child in the meantime (a week without a camera waiting for it to arrive in the mail). This is the worst baby monitoring system. I want my money back and I’m looking elsewhere for a product. So incredibly annoyed.First purchase from Bubs n Grubs online store and the last ones were sent directly from Oricom to replace the others.
