Just got this watch today. It's just as nice in person as in the photos. Really classic, understated style. Love the colour, the domed dial, the small seconds hand, the minute and hour hands. Very happy with my purchase.

This is the watch for those who want pure classic style. It is absolutely gorgeous. The small secondhand is unmistakable. The face is a very delicate gold. Champagne is absolutely the correct term. Depending on the light source it can be almost silver. The domed Crystal is the icing on the cake. Even though it’s a bit larger in diameter the slick Crystal keeps it from bothering your cuff.I’ve seen some reviews question the quality of the band. But in my mind it seems to be a very decent quality. I have paid good money for replacement bands that are not as good.This thing is so good that I I have put other watches back in the case and won’t take it off.

This is the watch for those who want pure classic style. It is absolutely gorgeous. The small secondhand is unmistakable. The face is a very delicate gold. Champagne is absolutely the correct term. This is a gorgeous classic. The quality is outstanding. It keeps excellent time for a mechanical watch. Though automatic, I greatly appreciate the feature that allows you to also wind it by hand. The design and craftsmanship is meticulous and refined. And its beauty is even more appreciated up close in person on the wrist. The value you receive relative to its cost makes everything else seem grossly overpriced.
This is a fine watch. Period. Beautiful to look at with superb materials and craftsmanship. The presentation packaging and literature also reinforce the impression of fine quality. I am proud to wear this watch. This proves that there is absolutely no need to spend an exorbitant amount of money to own a fine watch. This is my first Orient. I'm already deciding which I'll buy next.
The small seconds Bambino is a nice watch and I feel worth the price.The case is well polished, but the lugs have nice edges. The 40.5mm case is the perfect size. The mineral crystal is single domed and has a little distortion when viewed from an angle. The Champaign dial is light in color and you can easily distinguish markers and numerals in low light although this Bambino has NO lume. The dial also seems to dip down around the edge giving an appearance of depth to the dial. The date window is slightly small, but unobtrusive. The caseback is spectacular to view and has a signed rotor.The watch strap soft on the underside and for some reason only one of the keepers is stitched into place so the other one moves freely. Received my Orient Bambino Small Seconds champagne dial watch few days ago. Its a really elegant piece. Love the quality and finish of Orient watches. I am really enjoying this watch. I bought it primarily as a dress watch but it works great for business casual too.Crazy nice dial, easy to read and looks great poking out from under the shirt cuff.Purchasing and shipping cross-border was easy.Amazon.ca had the same watch for $2 less but I felt more comfortable buying through Island Watch. I figured if any issues arose, they would be addressed and resolved better with Marc than Amazon. A+

The strap, too, seems a nicer grade of leather than what came on the older iteration. The champagne color lends a vintage vibe to the face, though I do notice that it accentuates the larger, 40.5 mm size of the watch. That's not a knock, just something to note.
