The watch is very nice. I have been Orient fan since I bout a Curator a couple of years ago. The gunmetal tone of the body complements the dark red colors of the dial very well. The strap is very comfortable and feels well made. Overall, the watch is very nice and has a lot of presence on the wrist. I'm sure it's not for everybody's taste , but that doesn't take away the special charm of this watch.

I'm a slender old guy. I like the 40 mm case size, since the larger sizes we see nowadays don't work for me. This Orient style caught my eye a few months ago, and I found myself looking at it repeatedly as I browsed the Orient lineup. Now that I have the watch, I can say it is a comfortable, great-looking watch that I am proud to wear. The self-winding feature will save me the repeated cost of batteries for the watch too. That's a plus, since battery replacement has become costly. All in all, I am very pleased with this purchase.

I have Incivatas (yes!) that have a bracelet with higher quality. The clasp is stamped, not milled and the links seem almost hollow.- The Bezel does not have satisfying clicks when rotating and despite being hard to operate, it easily "over-clicks"- The Crown could be a tad biggerOverall: If buying for sub $250, this is a great watch. The current asking price ($550, before Orient discount) makes it hard to justify a purchase.

It took me a minute to figure out how to set the day and date, because it kept changing the day after a few hours. I set the time to 630 in order to set the day and date. This did the trick.Overall, it's my favorite dive watch from Orient. I swapped out the bracelet for a crown and buckle seatbelt nato strap.
Very nice dive watch. The size works well on my 7 inch wrist. The watch has a nice weight to it making it feel substantial but not overly heavy. The blue dial is more brilliant in person compared to the photos. The hands fit well on the dial and make reading the time effortless. The Lum is very good and makes it easy to read in low light. My only criticism is with the crown. With the fairly large crown protectors flanking the crown on both sides, it feels like the crown is a bit too small and it winding the watch is not as smooth as it could be. It seems like the crown should be a touch bigger in diameter or have more ridges to make it easier to grip. Overall, it is a very nice watch and I would recommend purchasing it.
Orient is a great well made watch. Great Style and Price. There is no reason not to invest on one of these watches. It looks professional on the wrists. This is my third Orient: Ray11. Pilot,and the Red face automatic. Fast delivery. Away on !
This kamasu is just like a seiko sports 5 but better. I just bought a second one! It has a less prominent/thinner bezel than the seiko 5 making it much nicer to wear on the wrist while somehow looking much more impressive. This can make it harder to turn but unless you are actually diving why are you turning the bezel? The red version and black/gold versions are stunning. You trade the skeleton/see through back of the seiko 5 but for around the same price you get sapphire crystal and a screw down crown (huge upgrades). I also personally like the bracelet better even though they are very similar. The only downside is that there can be some QC issues. Great watch and an amazing color. This deep red will basically ensure that this watch will always be in your rotation. No matter how many divers you already have or will acquire, they will likely not have this striking red dial. The case design and finish make the watch a great go anywhere do anything watch. I have mine for a couple months now and I still find myself staring into the dial. The dial is both a textured matte and a sunburst at the same time. Its a great entry level affordable watch, but the color, finish and size will evoke lasting experience for yourself and alwayd get a second look from others. Love this watch and honestly it made me an orient watch fan. Great watch great company. I look forward to building my collection with more orient watches...
Very happy with my purchase.The dial appears almost black in the lighting I'm in most lf the time, but when the angle is just right, you'll get that red sunburst effect.It has english and spanish days of the week. Sunday/Domingo uses red font. The other days use black.The glow is very strong in the dark. It's even visible under lighting.Mine seems to run a little faster than I'd like. I'll keep an eye on it.The product pictures show everything else pretty well. The lume pic is for a different watch ATW.I recommend checking out the video reviews. And i definitely recommend this watch. Gave a green one as a gift to somebody and they love it. The style is timeless.
