This watch band came when I purchased my Galaxy Watch 5 during preorder. It has been a couple of months now and the band does it job of course. One thing that I don't find appealing is the fact that the band doesn't stay in shape and after a while you can see some part of where you always strap it start to deform. This might have something to do with the thickness and silicone choice of the manyfacturer considering the fact I had an Apple Series 3 before this purchase, but the band on that thing hasn't deformed. In conclusion though, I would say the band is a good purchase for your watch and it will do its job while being comfortable on your wrist.

Probably the best quality silicone band I have ever felt. Buttersoft, heavyweight and the brushed nickel buckle is super high quality. I have had many silicone bands over the last 11 years with Fitbit OEMs and aftermarket. This is truly super high quality. The problem is the little spring is so deeply embedded into the band it's hard to even as a woman put my fingernail in and line up. The fact that it's a no gap band looks great but makes it even harder to put on because you have to hold and watch at a certain angle in order to get it in. It's a pain in the butt and more frustrating than not and I used it one time because of that. Two days later and it is still red and itches. So a big warning if you have allergis ( to whatever materials the strap is made out of) or just sensitive skin. I don,t have any allergis but still reacted. Waste of money for me...

I went to install this. With a lot of effort (the handle on the pin is buried in the band) I got the buckle side installed. I then went to work on the other half. After about five minutes of work, and my third chipped nail in three years, I gave up and threw the band away. It would probably work okay if I could actually get it installed, but a watch band that won't attach to the watch is pretty useless.
I have a couple of these bands, straight silicone & hybrid. Hybrid only means that it gives the appearance of being a different material. I HATE THE SILICONE! Please! Dear God - make some bands that really are fabric or leather!!!!! I can't stand the feel of this watchband against my skin! I have to take it off every time there's any possibility of water getting on my skin under the band bc it starts to chafe & itch! And I still have to switch wrists frequently for the same reason.
I have small wrists. Makes the 5 Pro look even bigger on my wrist because the band flares out from the sides of the watch face. The band does not pivot at the pins because the band material is molded to go right up against the round watch. Will probably get a better fitting band somewhere else on-line. Soft material though. I like that.

It actually fits better than the original on the Active2 (active original and 3 as well I’m sure) because it makes the watch and sensors sit better on the wrist. I have had a lot of problems with the Active2 being able to get any readings (Bp, stress, ECG) but since putting this one on I have had no problems. The end of the band tucks under for adjusting just like the band that originally came with the watch. I gave it 4 stars only because of the price. $30 just because it’s authentic Samsung is a little nuts compared to other generic universal bands that are well under $10, but I could not find one that has the tucking feature. Good, thick quality and fits snuggly into the fittings, but is too large for my wrist and sits off my wrist at the top and bottom uncomfortably. This is likely due to the difference in connection points. Where my other bands dont fit into the grooves of the watch, this one does (as shown in the first and second picture). It is also likely that I need a smaller sized band. My other M bands fit well, but being a M/L it barely fits my small wrist. For comparison, I've shown a white band purchased a while ago (M) that fits as I expected this one to.Overall, good buy, but I will be returning or regifting.
i love the look and fit of my galaxy 4 but that's about it. the battery life is poor. i can go 2+ days with my galaxy 2. the 4 barely last a day with regular activity. i purchased the 40mm. small watch, small battery i suppose. my 2 is 42mm. i've tried everything i know to extend the battery life, but nothing has worked. the watch faces are "just okay" in my opinion. i really expected more! it's a bit thicker than the galaxy 2 but that's not a big deal. overall, i'm disappointed. if the battery life was up to par, i would have given it 5 stars.
i purchased this watch band about 8 weeks ago and it broke 7 weeks after general wear. i work at the computer and sleep with it to track sleeping patterns, so it wasn't used for anything extreme and it cracked and broke. the junk isn't worth the money i paid for it, for sure!i tried using the chat support but nobody showed up for that and i can't get a human to help on the phone, so i'm writing the review.don't waste your money, and it's hard to say that because typically i have no issues with samsung products.i'd like to get my money back or change out for something more sturdy, but it does not seem that's an option at the rate i've been going.save your money! the one star is for the nice color of the band ~ generous, right?
