I received this product a little over a week ago and it was my first time trying a product like this. In the past I have only used treatment lotions that specifically targeted acne. When I first tried this product I did not like it at all. The first issue was the expectation of a cream considering it is called a lotion, but this product is more like a toner. So now I have wasted a good portion of the product and it is all over my sink. Then this peppery scent hits me and I am not a fan at all. Then after a few more days I noticed a change. I have been dealing with dullness for MONTHS trying different products and nothing was working and if it did the effects lasted for only an hour. However, this combined with my current skincare routine left me hydrated and glowing ALL DAY. The other unexpected result was that I just so happened to be around the time of my monthly cycle where I usually have breakouts with huge painful pimples. This month there was nothing! This product is the only thing that I have changed. I was shocked as this has been something I have dealt with my whole life and always expected it to be a thing. I can’t wait to continue to see how this product holds up especially in the drier months!

Exceeded expectations!

For reference, my skin: fair, combo/oily, adult acne, some rosaceaI received a sample of this in a gift bag, so really had no expectations for it, but turns out I absolutely love it. It's very watery, more of a toner than a lotion - I use it nightly under any serums (usually vitamin C or a retinol) and a night cream. It provides the perfect boost of moisture if your skin is naturally dry or simply irritated. I found it help calm my summer blotchiness/rosacea without breaking me out at all. It also seems to cut the burn/irritation of any harsher products applied on top. I'd say it's slightly less hydrating than a pure hyaluronic acid serum, but much more calming, which is exactly what my skin type needs. It lasts quite a while, too. Great product but I wouldn't purchase again.

I follow a 4-5 step Korean skin care system that involves me using different products (Asian and American) in layering the products to achieve my skin goals (hydrated and healthy), AM and PM. My skin care process usually involves layering multiple toners (Korean) to get the hydration I need, so this product being similar to a treatment lotion, it was simple to follow directions and use. This lotion gives an earthy, mushroom, patchouli scent, which I felt like was unnecessary given the pretty decent ingredients list. It was just surprising to see that mushroom was a little bit further down on the ingredients list, but I was more surprised at the other great ingredients listed on the product packaging. It would need to be layered with yet another item, another toner or another serum, before moisturizer. It's a viscous treatment lotion that is easy to pat into the skin for quick absorption. It's not tacky or sticky. The scent might require some getting used to but it's okay, but for some people who may be more sensitive to scents, that may be an issue. I feel like this treatment lotion would be great for someone who hasn't incorporated any treatment lotions, essences or serums in their skin care routine and are looking for an additional boost to increase their skin hydration and improve their skin barrier. I will use up all that I have but I will not be purchasing this product again because I feel like there are other options available to to me that may do the same job, if not more, but would cost less.

I use this product in my morning routine. However the "lotion" is more of a watery substance. It resembles and smells very close to an aftershave according to my husband. He actually enjoys the scent and doesn't mind using it himself. I love that this is ideal for all skin types since I have sensitive skin and it's a combination of oily and dry. I have noticed since using my dehydrated appearance has looked flawless and glowing. It appears and looks smoother too. My pores have diminished in size with continued use. I find that patting this into the skin works best with a cotton ball. Always shake before use! Some of the natural ingredients will settle to the bottom of the bottle. I stopped using foundation after I started using this

I never thought I'd see the day when I'd go out on a date with hubs and not use full coverage foundation, but here we are! I use zero foundation! This stuff literally saved my skin. Just buy it (sensitive skin & rosacea)!

I did not want to love this because I feel like it's way too much to spend on a toner, but I have rosacea and super sensitive skin and have the hardest time finding skincare that doesn't burn and enflame my skin. I bought this out of desperation and let me tell you, not only did it not irritate my skin, it calmed the irritation from washing immediately. I use a lot of really gentle products and nothing has ever calmed my skin as much and as quickly as this stuff. My skin felt so good. I was shocked. I saw some reviews where people seem confused about how to use this product. It is supposed to be used like a toner (right after washing and before hyaluronic acid or actives). Add in your actives and sunscreen where you usually do.

I wasn't sure how to use it, or if I should use it... After pouring a bit into my hand, rather than putting it on my face, I rubbed it into my hands. My hands stayed soft and moisturized through several hand washes. I've used hand 'treatment' moisturizers for years. Sometimes they were products meant for the hands, and other times I used a face moisturizer that wasn't working for my face. Here's the thing: first, I am in my late 60s, and although my hands have aged, I don't have a single age spot on them. I started using good products on my hands when I had half a dozen spots on them. First: This product has the consistency of an essence or moisturizing, non-active based toner. It is not as deeply hydrating as a lotion, or moisturizer. I felt it was important to get that out of the way first. I have started using the Mega-Mushroom Relief and Resillience Soothing Treatment lotion on my skin as a step following my double cleanse. Sometimes I use a Micellar water first if I do a full face of makeup, and this seems to cancel some of the harshness micellar water was causing, or general skin irritation caused by heavier makeup, I am not sure which. I use a cotton pad and sweep this all over. This is extremely calming and a little cooling, with a relaxing gentle mushroom scent. After it dries I don't feel like I applied anything to my skin yet. My skin looks extra clean and fairly radiant, and it seems to be reducing some redness. My pores looks slightly improved. I am not sure if they look smaller or I just have a bit better skin texture overall, and I have only been using for around 10 days, so I will keep trialing before being sure. This is a lovely choice for sensitive skin or people struggling with redness. It would make a great gift for someone new to skincare and appreciative of natural products. I received a small trial size of this with my last purchase. I'm here to buy a full bottle now. Some of the reviews has me thinking people are just ignorant with how to use this. At first I didn't understand how to use it, but it works like a toner - same application with cotton ball. Felt like I was wasting some product, so I started capping it over with my finger, like how you dab on perfume, and wiping that on my face. It is entirely too slow to do it this way. Now I prefer to pour a small dime-sized amount in palm of my hand - obviously you cup your hand so it doesn't spill everywhere! - I dip two digits in the liquid and wipe it on my face.
