For me, this serum has become the tool that I need in the morning to wake up my skin and add a vitamin charge to it. The skin looks fresh and rested; Serum gives the skin a beautiful and natural glow, without oiliness and shine. As for working with the texture and relief of the skin - in my opinion the texture has become more even and smoothed, while the pores still remain visible - yet I'm still not sure about the power of caring creams / serums that can remove pores. As for lightening pigmentation - in my opinion, as a person with pronounced and noticeable pigmentation, freckles became lighter, again, they did not completely disappear, but became a little less noticeable.

It even smelled like a lozenge in my opinion, opening up my nasal passageways and creating a multidimensional cleansing experience. This product contains caffeine from coffee beans, and boy can you feel it! Your skin will feel absolutely energized and awake with this serum. Even for nighttime use, I found this incredibly soothing to apply and proceeded to feel the powerful ingredients buzzing away, working on my skin even 10-15 minutes later after applying. This would be the perfect midday boost to get you re-energized and pumped for the rest of your work day. Other key ingredients include orange essential oil with potent vitamin C, hyaluronic acid, and a “5% Skin Renewing Complex” that blends the benefits of Green Coffee seeds with AHA/BHA to promote cell turnover. This is one of those products that will go to work for your skin even just after one use. This absorbs very quickly, so if you have dry skin you will want to follow this up with a moisturizer. An exhilarating product for the senses!

Allergic reaction

I had an allergic reaction with red itchy face with bumps. I used it once but initially I thought it must be with the food I ate or something. It took several days to clear with topical steroid. After a week or two, I used it again to try but I had itchy face and have red elevated bump, like a map; and I took Benadryl. Now for sure, I know it was from this serum. There's something in this product that makes me itchy. I have been using origin products for at least 8 yrs now with no reaction except at this time. I am throwing this, how I wish I can return and my money back. Please be cautious using this serum.

Favorite skin care product

I've used this product for years and have always loved it. It has multiple ingredients that usually only come in single serums; hyaluronic acid, vitamin C, caffeine, and plant oils to calm the skin. Meaning you don't have to have a complex regimen if you use this. My face is always hydrated, smooth, and glowing when I use this product. It also helps with some of the fine lines around my eyes. I forgot how wonderful it was till I switched to the Ordinary because someone recommended it. Sure The Ordinary was cheaper but I had to buy several bottles of serum to match what this one bottle can do. Also my skin was not near as brilliant and the serum would flake off with other products. Fresh and clean!

I had gotten a sample of this and adored it so much I bought the full version. I have dry to normal skin and this product adds the perfect touch. It makes my face feel so fresh after application. So many clean (and vegan) ingredients such as vitamin C and hyaluronic acid that make the skin glow and evens skin texture after just a couple uses. Looks beautiful under nautral makeup as well! Smells incredible too, there are essential oils added so if you dont like fragrances/have sensitive skin be aware and do a patch test before applying to face. I have been using the serum for the past month and my slightly textured skin has evened out completely and I have gotten many compliments on my "glowing complexion"

Game changer

I received a small sample of this in my Ipsy bag, loved it so much I bought the big bottle at Macy’s. This by far my favorite facial moisturizer I have ever used in my life. I have never liked using a moisturizer on my face under my makeup until I started using this and now I can never go with out. I love this moisturizer because it leaves your face looking smooth and tight. Feels weightless like you have nothing on your face. The fact that it smells amazing is just an extra plus ! I put it on after a shower and later in the day my husband said wow your face smells so clean and fresh ! And I said it’s my moisturizer! Holy grail!

I've seen so many reviews on here saying that it made their skin red, sensitive etc. I had nothing but amazing compliments about my skin! I have used vitamin C in my skincare on/off over the years. The key is to slowly introduce it into your skincare, making sure not to mix with other acids and other products! Always wear SPF the next day and keep reapplying as you should! I have friends who use a vitamin C serum without using SPF and they have skin reactions too. Please do not let negative reviews put you off this serum, it's amazing! So hydrating and gives a lovely health glow without looking greasy!

Miracle elixir?!

This stuff is a miracle in a bottle! After I burnt my skin with a retinol treatment (my user error), i had to let my skin heal for 2 weeks. I was left with patchy, yellowish, pigmentation spots that I couldn’t seem to get rid of. I tried exfoliating treatments, more moisturizing, squalene, etc. but the spots stayed. Using this, alongside my Biossance squalene gentle cleanser, Rhode skin barrier restoration cream, and Rhode skin peptide glazing fluid, DAILY, the spots have diminished almost completely! I am shocked, as this has been only within 10-14 days of use! My skin looks healthy, glowing, and has not broken me out! The new formula irritates my sensitive skin

I have used the Ginzing Oil Free Gel Moisturizer for YEARS, and it's been the perfect moisturizer for my very sensitive skin. It kept me feeling hydrated all day long. The new formula is terrible. They added niacinamide, which irritates my face. I can only use a niacinamide 2-3 times per week, at night, because otherwise I get red, irritated patches.So now I can't use Origins moisturizers at all. THANKS A LOT. They're just trying to appeal to 20 year olds on tik tok. Guess what. 20 year olds don't have great skin because of their skincare routines.
