I have a 3 y/o Border Collie and a 8 week old Border Collie. The 3 y/o has the worlds most sensitive stomach, he also has malabsorption syndrome, he was 35lbs when his actual weight should have been 44lbs. Three different vets have prescribed several different foods and they never helped, but ever since putting him on the puppy food for the higher calories to gain weight, he has gained 3lbs in just a few weeks, his energy level is higher and he loves the food! My 8 week old puppy’s coat is so much more shiny and soft and he is growing like a weed! I’m a dog trainer and would 100% recommend this food to any one of my clients!

Absolutely obsessed with this food. My puppy had horrible explosive diarrhea, I tried a bunch of other dog foods and nothing worked. She wouldn’t eat certain foods and she was losing weight. My vet recommended Royal Canin, which was the worst food I’ve ever given my dog. Later found out that vets get paid to promote these horrible dog food brands. So I Went to petco & the lady highly recommended orijen. I’ve tried their dog treats in the past and loved them. My pup has been on this food for a month & we are OBSESSED. Her stool is back to normal, nice and firm, minimum smell. She has a ton of energy. I will never spend my Money on any other brand. Thank you Orijen for caring about our dogs health and wanting the best quality of life for them.

Unfortunately my 10 week old Kelpie pup had a terrible reaction to Orijen puppy food.I love the quality ingredients in this food and was really hoping it would be his staple diet for some time.Only a couple of days into very slow transition from his normal kibble, he started scratching day and night, whimpering regularly.This was the only change made, with no washing or other products used or altered. There is zero flea sign, nor has he been on different grass.I stopped the feeding of any Orijen and within 24 hours there was a substantial decrease in his scratching, and within 72 hours it has basically stopped.I still believe it's a great product as reviewed by many, but it's certainly not tolerated by my Kelpie pup.
Our puppy was on Royal Canin before, he was eating it quite well. Reading the reviews, I had to give it a try! I've slowly introduce this kibble, he seemed to like it at the beginning when I was mixing it with his old food. I tried it on its own, no luck he spits it out, tried hydrating it with hot water, was ok for the first timr, no interest after. Now I have to mix it with boiled chicken, tuna or some beef topper before he shows any interest. He isn't normally a picky eater, not really sure why he doesn't like this one 😢
Introduced Orijen kibble to our 12 week old cocker spaniel. She came to us on Black Hawk, but it wasn't really suiting her. Her stool quality improved almost immediately and no more smelly flatulence. At 22 weeks now she's in excellent condition. Always very excited at meal times. Expensive but absolutely worth it.
My puppy had been on and off many foods before I switched to Orijen puppy for good. He struggled with digestive issues, would stop eating, lost weight, etc.While on Orijen, he slowly gained weight and is now 17 months old and doing great! He was 18 weeks in the photos. He still continued to experience some loose stools on this food, but overall his health increased significantly.
Been feeding my 7 months pup with this for the past 4 months and what a huge difference it made for her! Her coat and skin has been looking really good and healthy. We've been struggling quite awhile what kind of kibble should we get her, then glady found out about this product. A little pricey but its all worth it! We're all about good quality product and longevity of our lovely pup! Try their wet and stew canned puppy food too! I sometimes mix it with this dry orijen!
Our little Beagle Miss coco was always picky about her food. She was on a different kibble brand when she came to us and never finished her food. Sometimes she skipped her entire meal. She wasn't gaining weight and we were worried. We read reviews about Origen and ordered a small bag to try. First time we served it to Miss Coco, within 1 sniff she was on it like crazy and finished the entire bowl, asking for more. We had tears in our eyes when we saw her eat like this for the first time.The product has a strong smell, so whenever I open her kibble box, she comes running excitedly.This was not the main aim, but we notice that her poop is now darker, more compact and better formed.Will definitely recommend this, if price is not a concern.
We adopted Sunny at 8 weeks old, and I researched what would be best for a Pittie type puppy. After we finished the food the agency gave us I purchased a 5 lb bag of this to see how she did on it. Yes it is expensive, but the quality of the food is such that I'm willing to pay the price. On this food she went from a very underweight 7.2 lbs at 9 weeks to a well filled out 19 lbs 5 weeks later. Now at 7 mos her vet is thrilled with her health and no more bones poking out. When she progresses to Adult food we will stick with Orijen.
