I have eaten all kinds of popcorn and would typically choose an extremely buttery popcorn in the past. However, since I tried the Simply Salted Naturals popcorn, I really don't like anything else. The flavor is perfect! I was on the website and saw how poor of ratings this product has and that's what inspired me to write this review. My family has this popcorn about twice a week and I have not experienced any of the "inconsistencies" with popping or "too much salt" problems in the last two years. Try other brands and compare the number of kernels that fail to pop. In my experience, this product has far fewer that fail to pop. Flavor is good. Probably my favorite or at the top. Have purchased off and on for years. Recently, however, how many of the seeds that pop per bag is very inconsistent. Generally we can get about 3 bowls, maybe 4 of popcorn per bag, depending on bowl size. On several occasions over several purchases, we couldn't' even fill a bowl with popped seeds, rather we'd have an inch or so of unpopped seeds. In a bag I just popped, it was nearly full. One I popped last night was a little under half full.We do not have this behavior with another brand we use. Using a microwave popper likewise behaves as expected. It's a shame because I like the flavor, but not knowing whether I'll have 2 cups or 8 cups of popcorn in a bag before popping it is unacceptable.
