Osprey Aether Plus 70L Backpack Black - L-XL

I had an osprey Atmos that I used for 4 hikes 5-7 days. Inspecting it for the next summer hiking season I discovered the frame had shifted inside fabric at bottom of pack. Took it back to local store of purchase. They sent it back and Osprey sent me a brand new current year model.Never was impressed with this model and discovered Osprey had just come out with this Aether plus with features I desired in a pack. The store was gettin some of those in and agreed to swap new Atmos for Aether. I have used this pack on 4 hikes 5 days and longer this summer. Strenuous uphill cross country scrambling hikes. Even though this pack outweighs Atmos by few lbs. It feels much lighter due to a better suspension for carrying heavier weight. Even though this pack outweighs Atmos by few lbs. It feels much lighter due to a better suspension for carrying heavier weight. It is roomier better made and my back stayed dry and ventilated just as good as Atmos which is the sellin point of that pack. Aether is much easier to get in and out of. Atmos was a struggle. Fit is much better. I'm a med large in aether. I have big shoulders chest .Aether in the large fits perfect with adjustment to spare. Atmos large was too long for torso. But I need long shoulder straps. Aether u can swap diff.size belts and shoulder straps to fit diff torsos. Atmos mesh back seemed fragile and not heavy duty like aether. Aether has lumbar pad that fits my back very comfortable. Holds pack on back with no slip down. Atmos pack slipped down a lot. The belt hung down to my knees on atmos and load adjusters were hard to grab, too short. On aether everything is perfect and easy access. I feel Atmos is a compromise pack for weight conscious hikers. This Aether is a Cadillac well worth the extra money. Tougher pack in my opinion, more comfortable for heavier multiple day trips

First of all I received the Osprey Athena 100L backpack just as the item was described online! Super comfortable and more pockets and space than the Osprey Athena 85L. I am very Pleased with the backpack and unbelievable price!!!With that said.To make things very clear and build your confidence. the company trekkinn is out of Spain and products sold is coming out of Spain! So this will take time to get to you if you are in the US.What does that mean? It may take a week for acknowledgment and an invoice with tracking info sent back to you as well, so don’t feel you are left out. It takes time. From there it takes another week to process and to ship. Also include time to make the items through customs! So if you are expecting your item to come quickly. If you can wait 4 to 6 weeks for the product you purchased, then this is the best website an has has the best prices! The package will most likely come in a shipping Bag (not a Box). So be aware! My backpack came in a white shipping bag and was not damaged. it was nicely and professionally packed inside with no issues. I love the price and I love the quality of this backpack! I compared this to my Osprey Athena 85L I already have and purchased locally in the US.So in comparison the Osprey athena 100L is bigger and built with the same quality and care! This Trekkinn company although may take longer, and in my opinion is not a scam! With knowing what to expect, I am very pleased with the outcome! Thanks TrekkInn! I rate my experience A+++++ with no issues!

I really like this pack. It has adequate storage and plenty of pockets for organization. The drawbacks may not bother most people. For one the pack is a bit heavy but it does have a higher weight capacity which was important for me. Another con is all the straps and pockets. This can be a pro for some but may be too busy for others. There are a lot of pros to the bag though such as quality and durability, weight capacity and volume, adjustability, the day pack, and my favorite feature the frame design itself. Although the pack is heavy, it feels really good and comfortable even when fully loaded. Overall I would recommend this pack for someone that is more of a trail dad/mom, 5 day+ hikers, or those who like to take extra equipment.
