This pack is beautiful! It is so well made like all osprey packs. The waist pockets are a decent size for a change as so many woman's packs have small waist pockets. It has amazing airflow for your back which helps with the heat. I really love this pack and highly recommend.

Perfect for a weekend trip for those that pack light and/or have modern gear. My only frustration is how small the lower zip compartment for the sleeping bag goes (down and compression stuff sack).

Getting ready for the next trip tested the pack with a short 2 mike hike. The suspension system is awesome. Putting the pack on feels like a hug. I'm excited to get on the trail. My only issue is the need for two hands to zip up the hip pouch - doesn't work well when wearing.
I LOVE this back. I backpacked through deep mud and heavy rain. The included rain cover was great for hiking and laying the bag down in the muddy vestibule. It feels like you are carrying half the weight when it is on and it can be adjusted to whatever your carrying preference is. I had and easily accessible spot for everything. I compared it to many other bags before settling on it. No other bag could beat the comfort, which is really important for a person with back pain.
I bought this bag the day before I left to hike the W circuit in Patagonia and I am so thankful I did. This pack was the perfect size for the 4 days / 4 nights worth of hiking (50+ miles in total). I have issues with my back and sciatica and never once felt any discomfort while carrying ~50lbs of gear in this pack. This is my 4th Osprey backpack purchase (have 3 other sizes) and this is the first one to have a rain cover built in! THANK YOU! The quality of the bags are the best and last for years!
This has been my go-to backpack for mutli-day trips, as well as winter day hikes that require snow shoes. Even when loaded down with five days of food in a bear can, and autumn backpacking gear, this pack is fairly comfortable once you have it adjusted right. The one downside is that my hips will sometimes get pinched if I don't have the waist strap exactly right, which requires some negotiation with the pack. I also wish that the pack was wide enough to fit my Garcia bear can horizontally, but that's a fairly minor gripe. Overall, this pack is comfortable, can handle heavy loads, and has held up to rough backpacking trips and stress from carrying snowshoes and microspikes.
no flap jacket. I was excited about the updated water bottle pockets and was sizing down for a JMT thru hike to the 50, but if I have to carry the brain I will not use the pack. They hurt my neck terribly. Really disappointed that Osprey would leave this feature off, when all 8 Osprey packs I own have it. I am hoping they will add it back soon, and I will buy one of these when they do.
I’m 5’2 about 125lbs. . I borrowed an older version . Was So looking forward to the new AG version . It kept hitting me in the back of the head very uncomfortable . Went back to the store three times to have it adjusted. I bought small/X small. They said it was the correct size..for my frame.
So, I did the exact wrong thing, short notice trip to hike to the bottom of the Grand Canyon and back, and all I had was a daypack (also an Osprey). So on the way, we stopped at the Flagship REI and I picked this up (I ordered it online the night before). The folks there fit it for me. So the first time I ever carried a backpack was a brand new one I had never used and hiked to the bottom of the Canyon and back with zero issues!! (well, no issues with the pack, anyway). I highly recommend!! If you're gonna do something stupid, do it with awesome gear!!
