I am very impressed but how useful, comfortable, and light this pack feels when I use it. Iâve used it for walks/hikes with my dogs, training runs outside and inside on treadmill, long runs on the treadmill and outside, and even riding my bike. This is a great multi use pack since it feels so light, carries quite a bit, and is so comfortable. I was looking for a pack that had a lot of capacity and this fits that need! I was able to keep running in the winter and shed some of my layers with this pack. One note is that even with quite a few things in the pack plus the water this felt a little big on me. For reference, I like a snug fit but even though I wear a 36C, the large feels like even cinching the cords I could use a medium. Best suggestion is to try it on and ... MoreI am very impressed but how useful, comfortable, and light this pack feels when I use it. The fit is truly bizarre. I went into the store to try it on. I am 5â10â 155 lb and a 36 B. The medium was tiny- it didnât cover my nipples though the straps did close. So I got a large but itâs huge. Cinched down fully it was big but I figured it would be fine if I loaded it up. Itâs almost worse loaded- since itâs too loose at the front it rides up into my neck. The jump between medium and large is ginormous and thereâs no side adjustments or anything so youâre just out of luck. If I could have tightened the side straps I think the large would have worked. Currently it feels like when youâre in the water with a life jacket bunched at your neck. Not ideal. Also there are no zipper or bungee pockets aside from the water pouch. I got it for a long distance run but ... MoreThe fit is truly bizarre. I went into the store to try it on. I am 5â10â 155 lb and a 36 B. Donât recommend if youâre in between sizes. Osprey- you need better fit models.

I usually wear a 2x and bought the large. Itâs a little difficult to get on and off but once itâs on it fits great, and itâs getting easier (probably more of a flexibility issue than a size issue). I am surprised by the commenter below complaining that one size doesnât cover her nipples. Is it supposed to? Mine doesnât cover mine but I donât see how thatâs a problem. It does everything Iâd hoped. Unfortunately my reservoir developed a tiny leak but I was able to fix it with some gear tape.

I have a Dyna 15 that's great for long winter runs when I want to carry extra gear, but I wanted an option that was smaller and lighter when I don't need to carry as much. I wore the Dyna 6 in a 15-mile trail race last weekend and it was great. Very comfortable and I was able to carry everything I needed. The only negative is that it doesn't have a magnet (or anything really) to hold the bite valve in place like the Dyna 15. I tucked the bite valve through one of the straps on the opposite side of the vest and that worked well enough.
Really love this vest. Was worried it would be too small as i was at the top of the size range suggested but i have the closures set pretty tight, lots of room to make it bigger, not tons to make it smaller. Love the bladder and all the pockets, perfect for my neighbourhood 3h hike when i just need water, a layer, chapstick, meds, sunscreen, etcâŠ. Ran my first 10k because i finally had access to water with me and i love how it feels on when running. Got it on sale and it was an absolute score. Would recommend!
I had been looking for some time to find a suitable vest/water bladder system to use for my half marathon walks. Plenty of pockets , good amount of space on back to slip in extra layers, nice water hydration system and amount of volume suits my needs. Easy front clips for across the chest. I wore this in the recent half marathon in Wellington. I hardly noticed it was on myself as it's nice and comfortable and not heavy. Much easier on my back and shoulders too. I would definitely recommend and I can use it on walks and the bike too.
Osprey has always made quality gear and this is no exception. Bought this for my wife as a gift. Sizing was a size larger than recommended based on the chest size chart. We will be exchanging for a smaller size, but love features and teal color of this 6 Liter vest!
I bought this after trying my boyfriend's Osprey running pack and liking it more than expected. I am new to distance running and decided it was time to invest in some gear if I wanted to go farther on my runs. I'm a 34dd, 40" chest, and according to osprey's sizing chart, I fall in the L size. I cinched it fully tight and it was still a bit loose. Technically, the pack fit in the chest, but the upper bust and rib cage area was very loose. I would suggest sizing down. I'm bummed that I have to pay a return shipping fee after diligently measuring myself and double checking the size chart. Moosejaw's original shipping was fast. Overall, the vest is good quality. I will be rebuying in a smaller size.
I was a big fan of the previous version of this vest but couldn't get the old sizing to work for me. XS/SM was too small and S/M was too big, and I'm pretty average-sized at 34A. Osprey did away with mixed sizing and the super chafy side strap adjusters, and the M in this current version is a great fit. Also, the zippered pocket on the left side now holds my phone a little lower, so the pressure is off of my chest.Other than these excellent refinements, the rest of the vest is mostly the same. It has many useful pockets that have reasonable depths and flex. The pocket for the reservoir is separate from another large backpack compartment in front of it. The back sits much higher than most vests, so it feels cooler. I also really appreciate the "floaty" feel. I ran for a while in a Salomon vest, and yes, they do not bounce or chafe, but they accomplish that by having tons of contact with your body which in the end I didn't like. And I do like that the Osprey Dyna is snug enough to be secure, but the arm holes, collar area, and bottom of the vest sit away from the body. It could just be a personal sensory thing, but it feels much better.I highly recommend this hydration pack. Definitely a joy to wear.
I canât give this a full review because it was way too big to use. I used the size charts. It said I was a large. Ordered that and it was so big the two best sides over lapped and had no possible way to do it up properly. I went with another brand. Disappointing, I liked the colour and design.
