Love how quickly itworks, and easily stores away until next use. Doesn't crisp as much as we like. i just started useing it, soi will perfect this feature. I froze the left over waffles and toasted them this morning. perfect! Great way to have quick waffles, better and cheaper than Eggos. Love it. Very affordable.

This is the worse waffle I’ve ever used. It doesn’t cook the waffle what so ever. By all means get it if you like to eat raw batter but personally I like my waffles cooked all the way. I wasted my money on this waffle maker and I’ve wasted countless batches of batter. This product has robbed me of my money and joy. I will now only be eating pancakes until I get a high quality waffle maker. Thank you Oster for providing me with uncooked pancakes for breakfast. I’m currently throwing this item away. I would not recommend buying this waffle maker what so ever.

Just got mine today. Went and got kodiak waffle mix. Prepared just like the instructions say. Only took about 4.5 minutes on medium level for my waffles to come out perfect. For new users like me, i think its best to use medium setting. The maker heats up fast and ready to go in no time. Use milk instead of water for fluffy waffles. Although i forgot to spray the pan, it did not get dirty at all. If your looking at the terrible reviews, dont listen, get a protection plan just in case $3 for 2 years.Only USER error will cause a issue to the quality of waffles, etc. great product for the price. Beware of condensation to drip from the front of the unit. No biggy just put a little napkin.
I liked the light weight of this waffle maker. The consumer friendly instructions are easy to understand. They melted in my mouth.Clean up was a breeze, I just lightly wiped off the grids and let them air dry.The grids are fixed, not removable, but that wasn’t an issue. Instructions said to gently clean, and preseason the grids before use, which was quick and easy.At the fair price point, ease of use, and delicious waffles it produces, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this Oster waffle maker for your own use, or for a gift. You deserve hot, fresh, light, fluffy, delicious waffles.
I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong. My old presto waffle maker that stopped working after 20 years made tall fluffy on the inside crispy on the outside waffles no matter what recipe I used. This one is more of a waffle form but it doesn’t toast the batter to leave a crispy exterior. I tried turning it up all the way and still the same very rubbery result. I didn’t say anything to my husband and he was very critical which he usually isn’t one to complain or notice a lot. I should have returned this but it’s such a pain.
Purchased this waffle maker a few weeks ago and have had great results! I use protein waffle mix; waffles have turned out fluffy and thoroughly cooked. This is a great product especially for the price. It saves me money as I pre-make waffle sandwiches for a quick breakfast on the go. I'm excited to try some variations with fruit and organic mixes as well!
Just bought this! I like that it is on a stand and easier to store. I like the nonstick ceramic coating, if that is the only coating without other toxic materials mixed in with. The top of it and the whole thing is very hot to touch and burns me. Also,no buttons to power on and off. Just lights to tell you when ready to cook. No way to know when they are done. The waffles cook very well and are delicious.Wish it didn’t burn it
This Oster Belgian waffle maker is a real nice item. The outside is stainless steel, and matches my Oster convection oven. Not only does it look great, it works great, and the waffles come out perfect every single time. It is simple to clean with it's non stick surface and a great price to go with it. 5 stars.
I didn't spend much for the item, only $22.30. However I thought it would work better than it does. the first time I used it the waffle came out perfect crispy and brown -- just the way I like it. I've used it 10 times subsequent to that, and each time I had trouble opening the lid. it seems that as the steam is released a fuel forms and when cooking is done you can't open it without prying it open with a butter knife. it's nothing else to grab onto but that top lid and everything else is too hot to the touch. I have to unplug the device and get electrocuted somehow, then slip the knife between the scene twist the knife so that the seam opens.I've been very careful not to have the battle overflow and the plates are very clean. I've even added a little oil to the place to ensure that they don't stick, but it still won't open after the waffles are done.Previous waffle irons that I've used Cadillacs you press so that it would open, or a bottom latch to use in conjunction with the top so that you can press simultaneously to open. Maybe this is something to consider when planning a new model.
