OtterBox Symmetry Case - For iPhone 7/8/SE Black

We purchased an otter box for our grandson’s iPhone SE and he HATED it. Refused to use it. The screen protector side interfered with his texting on both sides. He had it “professionally installed” and they said “it’s not supposed to be like this, there’s something wrong with it”. I ended up replacing it with something that didn’t have the screen protector, we bought a shell case separately. It was a $60 mistake.

I had this case for like 2-3 months and it became all orangy yellow and scratched, i had my phone on a chair and it slipped and boom! my screen broke in pieces and it didn’t work anymore! The fall was about 40cm tall. I only had that phone for a year and all the money spent on it gone because of a 35$ phone case that i thought would be good quality, i am flabbergasted. I’m a stunned quebec citizen.

Back in 2014, I bought an iPhone 6 and a Symmetry case for it. Life was good.Now I just bought a new Phone SE (2020).This new Symmetry case isn't as a good a product as the one for the iPhone 6 for the following reasons:1. The vertical thickness of the edges is now smaller (i.e. the distance between the front edge of the case and the surface of the screen has been decreased), so drop protection from a fall onto an uneven surface has been reduced;2. The cutouts for the lighting port and speakers are very sharp (meaning very small radius). This is a problem when holding the phone in one hand -- your little finger winds up supporting the bottom edge of the phone, and this is now somewhat painful as compared to the iPhone 6 Symmetry case, with the cutouts ... MoreBack in 2014, I bought an iPhone 6 and a Symmetry case for it. The front edge is sharp as well -- it appears that there's a mold line around the front edge, which is unnecessarily sharp.
