The case is light weight, durable, and not bulky which is great. It has really good quality and is very protective. The case also has a certain texture which is great because the case is not slippery and stays put in your pocket. I have bought many otter box cases over the years because of its great durability.

Feedback for the Otterbox Design/Product Team - Please incorporate this camera button design from the LUMEN iPhone 16 Pro Max case a new version of this Otterbox iPhone 16 Pro Max case, and you will have an AMAZING case, as the front edge of the phone and screen where the camera button cutout is will actually have protection vs the huge unprotective cut out notch that this case features - making it not drop proof.

Have had many OB cases in the past. Was worried about how this would feel and the potential for slipping out of my hands. Needless to say, OB delivered! Love this case. I’m still surprised, though that they removed the imprinted “OtterBox” name at the bottom (?)

The OtterBox Symmetry iPhone case delivers excellent protection. It feels solid and well-made, offering great drop resistance with raised bezels around both the screen and camera. I appreciate how the design balances protection without adding unnecessary bulk—it’s surprisingly slim for such a durable case.The fit is precise, with all the cutouts perfectly aligned, and the buttons remain responsive under the case. It also has a nice grip, making the phone easier to hold. Plus, it works flawlessly with wireless chargers, which is a huge convenience.While the performance and design are impressive, the price feels hard to justify in today’s market. It’s undeniably a great case, but at this cost, I expected a bit more value or innovation.
I have been a loyal Otterbox fan for a very long time. I loved the look and feel of this case when I got it. As I used it I noticed a lot of dust getting inside the case because of the cut out for the camera button. I also noticed that it started changing colors. It was clear and after a couple of weeks it started turning red. Very strange.
I’ve used the Symmetry case for my iPhone Pro Max for years (11, 12, 13, 14, 15 and now 16). I’ve recommended them to everyone for being durable and just enough rubber sides to grip, but not be sticky. IYKYK. Just enough lip to protect the face when laying flat.This year for the 16 something has changed. It’s way too slippery on the sides. Sturdy still, but too much hard plastic. The camera button cutout is BRUTAL as the edge is sharp, exactly where your thumb goes to hold the phone with your right hand. After a minute it feels like it’s cutting the skin. Plus it’s hard to use the camera button with the way the notch is designed. Bummer to go another direction and return this. Loved Otter in the past. Maybe they’ll redo the case.
While I understand the camera button on the iPhone is new, I do not like the cut out. It exposes too much of the edge of the iPhone which I would think would take away from the effectiveness when dropping your phone. The cutout also has a sharp edge that is uncomfortable when holding your phone.
Sturdy case but the material is very slippery with nothing to help with grip. I’m not a fan of the camera button cutout. The edges of the case have some sharp spots, especially around the camera button cutout. I decided to go another route. Fit was good on the phone this just wasn’t the case for me.
Bought the pink sparkle. It's pretty. The surface is slick all around. Wish there was something grip-like applied to the sides to prevent slipping (got used to my defender case on my old iphone which has xlnt grip)
Worst Otterbox ever. I’m a hardcore Otterbox user for many years, but it may be a long time if ever before I buy another one. The camera button cutout is hideous looking and defeats the purpose of the case. $50 wasted for this useless case that never saw 1 second on my phone.
