Bought this desk 4 months ago and so glad I did! Due to WFH I needed to upgrade my space, and I was specifically looking for a desk that was spacious and sturdy- this desk ticks both boxes! I'm able to fit two laptops very comfortable on this, with some room still left over. The top of the desk is made of a strong laminated oak and the drawers are also spacious. This is not a bulky desk, the width is <1m, so it's quite slim and sleek. Only reason why I gave 4 stars is because the instructions for the base really threw me off, and it took a lot longer to build. I had to unscrew and screw multiple times, causing the pre-drilled holes to widen. So far 2 screws have fallen out, but that has not weakened the desk in anyway, it's still very much stable and strong.

My daughter was desperate to get this desk put together, it looked great on display. However, the instructions are confusing, some parts had already been completed but wrong, meaning part of the desk is not secure at all. Hubby's blood pressure was through the roof! Hope you have a few spare hours and a good ticker!

Bought this desk a few days ago, assembled today. Assembly was relatively easy to follow, but took at least 2-3 hours, not the estimated 60 minutes. Great leg space for a tall person and storage with 2 draws and 3rd for suspension files. Huge improvement to my home office and really happy with my purchase. Great that you also have the option of the draws being on either the left or right hand side
Overall, this desk is quite good for the price, good layout, drawer space, plenty of surface space, looks good, and you can have the drawers on the left or right, your choice.Just don't think the setup is going to be straightforward. In some cases the instructions are either misleading or just plain incorrect. The parts are poorly labelled and packaged and there are multiple different types of screws or questionable quality making the process of assembly quite complicated. I am extremely happy with this purchase. It's a practical desk, with two generous top drawers and a large bottom drawer for storing suspension files, so there's no need to add a filing cab as well. The desktop is large enough to fit everything I need on it, including my laptop computer, small wi-fi printer, in-tray, stationery cup and assorted other items of stationery. Assembling is night mare. Would not recommend.Hard for a single person to assemble. The wooden screws doesn't have enough strength. If we apply strength wood cracking.
If you don’t like imperfections don’t buy this desk. It has a lot of them! The laminate is roughly cut and has lots of chips along the edges. One of the legs of the desk is missing paint. It’s not a sturdy desk so once assembled it’s difficult to shift into place.
We are familiar with flat pack furniture having a lot of ikea cupboards and other items in our home. Once we assembled we picked it up together to move it into place and the whole thing collapsed and each screw ripped out of the chipboard. We had to reinforce the whole desk with other bits of timber at the back, even with 3 more support timbers the whole desk wobbles. Extremely disappointed, I’ll stick to Ikea. The Kmart desk I had before this was better quality.
it would be impossible to do with a hand screwdriver. the assembly video is not accurate, they could not do it by hand and they even use an allan key for bits that are screwed together. some pieces once tight just rip out the part from the wood. the instruction are purely pictures and alot just dont make it clear what to do
