OUAI Leave - in Conditioner

I love this leave in conditioner. I have about four leave in conditioners that I keep in rotation and personally after trying this one I love it. First, the smell is absolutely amazing. I’m pretty sure this is scented with Ouai’s north Bondi scent. But the scent cannot compare to how wonderfully this tangles your hair. I got this recommended from my hairdresser and let me tell you she put me on and I will continue to buy this again and again and just in general Ouai makes amazing hair products, but this is personally one of my faves from their whole line. Not only all that, but I just found out recently that it is also a heat protectant so not only is this detangling, but also making your hair protected from the heat. I would recommend this. It is amazing. 

Actually makes a difference

I got this as a sample from Sephora. Granted I've only tried the oily types of leave in conditioner and generally don't use any hair products out of the shower but I ended up liking this one. I have short thin East Asian hair - I let my hair air dry halfway and then use my hands to apply a single pump of conditioner. I noticed pretty quickly that it left my hair shinier, smoother, and tamed my flyaway frizz. It definitely leaves residue if you use too much and I found it works best for me when my hair isn't completely wet. I think the smell is nice but it's pretty strong if that's an issue for you.I really don't usually spend money on leave in products but I am strongly considering buying more of this when my sample runs out. Curly friendly!

After trying the mini size, I just HAD to buy the full size! For reference, I have fine, short, curly hair that I color at least one time a month, so my hair MUST have a LOT of moisturization. It took some trial and error to get good result- obviously it's easy to use too much and look greasy. However, after nailing the amount, this makes my hair SO SOFT, shiny, and bouncy! It doesn't weigh down my hair at ALL and helps maintain the frizz. I typically use it on wet hair, but a couple little sprays worked through dry hair gave so much life to my second day hair. The best part is the smell, it's very clean, sweet, and fresh. Finally Found A Detangling Product That Works!

I have had the most tangly, obnoxious to deal with hair for my literal entire life. I'm 27 years old and have always had long hair on the finer side, but a lot of it. It was curly as a kid, but it's not anymore. No matter what, brushing it is ALWAYS horrible. Seriously, no one ever understands how my hair goes from zero to rat's nest in 5 minutes. My hair stylist will ONLY cut my hair dry because you simply cannot run a comb through it wet. I normally have to brush my hair dry before showering to detangle (takes forever), then with LOTS of conditioner in the shower I run a very wide tooth comb through it to get some of the new tangles that developed while washing it out without frizzing it up by brushing it after it dries. I facetimed my parents to show them and they were also in disbelief that I was brushing my wet hair with NO snags. I know that sounds dramatic but brushing my hair as a kid was a traumatic experience and no detangler EVER made a dent. They once had to take me to get it professionally detangled, and even then the salon had to cut some of the knots out. My parents immediately asked what this miracle product was because they couldn't believe it. A little goes a LONG way, and it is incredibly easy to apply with the spray applicator. I just spritz a small amount on the lower half of my wet hair, then scrunch it in to distribute it.TLDR: If you've lost hope that there is a product out there that will detangle your crazy hair, try this. It's the only product that has managed to let me run a brush through my wet hair without pain, snags, or adding even more tangles. Simple to use, spritz on lower half of wet hair and scrunch to distribute, then enjoy your tangle-free, smooth hair!

GREAT detangler for my fine hair with dry tumbleweed ends!

OMG! I have been looking for something to help detangle my straight, fine hair. I have a few grays, but my problem is my ends. They are always tangling up, always dry the day after I condition (the first 24 hours my ends are fine). I am trying to grow my hair long, and the ends always end up straw-like, back to their normal rough tangly dry thatch tumbleweed, and breaking when I brush, and I do not want to condition every day! Who has time for that? Every product I have tried either does not detangle, leaves my hair greasy and weighted, or it ends up drying out my ends even more. I received this in a GWP from Ulta, and YES! Silky soft ends, not for one day but like 4 days after!! It works but there is a learning curve

I like this conditioner. I have thick, shoulder length, wavy/curly, color treated, dry hair.I spray about 3 pumps onto my hands and distribute it through my damp hair. It detangles and softens my hair in preparation for styling. I also use other products pre and post styling. This leave in is just the first step onto out of the shower clean hair.Yes it has a strong scent that I don't love. I mostly avoid that problem by not spraying it directly onto my hair.I consider this a strong leave in conditioner. If I had finer or oiler hair I would pick a different product.I have used it to refresh my curls by mixing it with some water(on my palms) and lightly recoating my 2nd/3rd day hair. As long as I deposit just a bit it does a decent job of taming curls without ... MoreI like this conditioner. My favorite

This is absolutely the best leave in conditioner I have ever had. I had severely damaged hair as I was doing highlights for years, and at some point my hair was burnt to a level where my hair felt gummy. Awful. I was not able to detangle my hair at all. I have tried various products, way more expensive, and It was a nightmare when I tried to detangle it.I bought that leave in with hope to detangle my hair. I was stunned. First, the scent is so fantastic, I love it. So I got a small bottle of this as a birthday gift but I tend not to use leave in conditioners because they weigh my hair down so much, make my hair look greasy and gets greasy faster, and I just never loved the results. So I just started using this a couple months ago (I got it over 6 months ago) and I quickly became obsessed! I have very long hair, down to my butt, and half of it is dyed and just not the healthiest hair. I also have very thick hair, but not very full anymore. My partner also uses it, and he is growing out his hair and it's almost to his shoulders now. He has VERY thin hair, and we both have wavy hair. The smell is incredible

First off, can we talk about the smell? Oh my goodness, it's like a bouquet of fresh flowers and sunshine. Every time I spritz it on, I feel like I'm treating myself to a mini spa day. And the best part? The scent sticks around all day, so I'm constantly getting compliments on how amazing my hair smells.But beyond the heavenly scent, this stuff actually works wonders for my hair. It's super lightweight, so it doesn't weigh down my hair or make it feel greasy. Instead, it leaves my strands feeling incredibly soft and hydrated. It protects my hair from heat damage. It loses one star because i feel like the packaging isn't suitable as the product is so thick so its difficult to spray evenly.
