We have the Always Pan 2.0 and the Mini Pot. We just finished a kitchen renovation which included replacing our broken cooktop with a very popular brand induction cooktop. We bought the pans for their induction compatibility, knowing we would be switching. We were excited to test out the new cooktop, but were confused and disappointed when the cooktop could only recognize our Always Pan and not the pot. After talking to customer service, I discovered that the mini pot would only work on a 6” or smaller induction burner. Sure enough, the single small 6” warming element is the only space on our cooktop that can function with the Mini Pot. I really wanted this to be my new found love for a high quality all purpose pot but there were a few negatives for my desires. First, I commend them on the seemingly high quality and very easy (truly non-stick) clean up! However, I just found the "mini" pot size to even be too big and bulky-- I really like the standard 2.2-2.5 size of most other non stick options. I also very much dislike that the lid isn't see-through -- I thought it wouldn't be a big deal but found it difficult to easily keep an eye on things. I also didn't like how much longer this material takes to come to temperature and then easily over cooked grains, even at very low heat. If you have more cupboard space and patience than me, then I would suggest getting this!

I adore this pot! I bought this for two reasons: the size and the strainer in the lid. Both have lived up to my expectations. The size is perfect for me. I live alone so it's sooo much easier to use this for pasta than pulling out my big stock pot. It's also excellent for one or more servings when it comes to sides. The strainer is excellent for both use cases - it is so so so nice to not have to get a second item dirty to strain pasta or sweet corn. My only complaint is I wish this came in the (always more vibrant) limited edition colors! Would have loved this in the bright blue and deep magenta from the Selena Gomez collections.

First, I really like the design and overall finish of the product. It falls behind once I used it with my Induction cooktop. Induction performance is lackluster. In a test bringing 2 cups of water to a boil, all on the same burner, allowing the glass to cool between tests, the results of my three 2.5 quart pots were: All-clad original (NOT nonstick) 2:23 (minutes:seconds), Green Pan Nonstick 5:30, Our Place almost a minute longer at 6:28. Further, compared to the other two, the Our Place had a hot spot near the handle and a pretty cold one in the center when there's a logo cutout in the ferrous base plate. The others heated consistently across the bottom.Also, the first time it was used to make rice, the lid was not good at retaining steam, so I had to extend cook ... I'd probably avoid entirely due to the loose lid design, even though I like the integrated strainer and pour spouts.
I absolutely love my new pan. It is totally a nonstick pan, without all the bad stuff added to nonstick pans. I also love how light the pan is, which was surprising. The color is beautiful blue, I like the spatula feature where you can keep it while you are cooking. Just remember to follow the directions per the pamphlet that came with the pan. Don’t cook on too high of heat, let it heat up a bit before cooking. I just can’t say enough about my new pan other than I donated a few pans that I will no longer be needing. Also I love this pan so much I took advantage of the sale price and I purchased two more pans in different sizes, on in a brown which is beautiful(I saw on Selena’s cooking show) and I love it, plus I purchased another blue in a different size. We bought the perfect pot maybe 12-18 months ago?? I’m not completely sure, but we dig it! Have made all kinds of good soups in there. This time around we got the mini set. They are just as good. Quality doesn’t seem to have changed.Only “complaints”/feedback: the spoon slots are no help. As soon as you get any substance on the spoon it becomes too heavy spoon side and cannot balance on the pot handles. This is true for all three I bought. Also, weirdly I’m having a hard time getting rid of smell. These new ones seem to maintain the *slightest* smell of the food it most recently cooked. Maybe I’m not using enough soap? There’s potential this is on me. However, i’d buy these again. No doubt. Just make sure you’re a person patient enough to slow cook! These pans DO ... I wish I jumped on the ‘Our Place’ train sooner! All these products are amazing! I received a couple pans for Christmas and loved them so much I immediately ordered more! The quality is phenomenal. These are a little heavy but very sturdy pans— and the clean up is so easy! Nothing sticks to these pans! I have used the perfect pot in the oven for confit and it was, well, perfect! My mini pot and pan are not so mini— but a step up in size (to me) and I love that I can fit a little more in them! Annnnd I love the oven pan! I use it for breakfast, lunch, and dinner- one pan for everything! It’s all just amazing! I can’t imagine ever going back from Our Place! I was able to purchase this cookware as ours desperately needed an overhaul. Unsure how I was going to delegate what pot for which lifestyle - as I’m vegan and I used the white pots for my vegan cooking, and then the black cookware for my families ‘meat’ meals. Without knowing my son made his incredible bolognaise in one of the our place pans but unaware to this, my first knowledge came from my son saying ‘how good is this new pan Mum?”.. he let me know how it cooked his recipe to even more perfection and was easy to clean, nothing stuck to the base. A mini heart sink moment but then also happiness in knowing the pan took care of my worries - as no residue could be seen.. so when I used the pan I could not tell it had been used - it still looked new and I didn’t ... When I first got my set I was so happy because these are beautiful. The non stick does work well but I noticed pretty quickly that there was silver peaking out on the rim of the pan.Turns out this is the aluminum showing through due to the paint and ceramic applications not being done properly. It is especially problematic where the spouts are as hot food will be passing over it. I started to notice this on all my pans and even after exchanging this was how they were arriving and with the paint poorly applied. (Which by the way, the exhange process is a painful and lengthy ordeal)For an expensive product I expected top notch quality but that is not what I got. I will be returning all of my pans.PS. I absolutely love these pans. We were gifted the big pots for Christmas. After roasting a whole chicken in the oven using the pot, the cleanup was amazing. With other pots, I've had to do a lot of scrubbing and soaking with this one that is not needed. My husband and I decided to start replacing the pots and pans that we have with our place brand pans. We have been slowly replacing our old pans with these ones. Buying one or two at a time (due to cost of pans). Although these ones can be quite pricey, they are 110% worth it. As of right now we have replaced all of our pots and pans. The next purchase will be the bakerwear.
