After much deliberation, I settled on this tent. Firstly, delivery and communication was good. We did a trial run at home, and a weekend away with 2 Adults, and 3 young kids. I like the build quality, main tent pegs loops sewn to support the water membrane. All rooms have electric in points and tags to run a cord to the roof line. Roof line has clips along the length allowing LEDs etc to run through rooms. As per others comments, the room dividers work well and tuck away nicely. Zips all end in the lower middle and allow you to zip to both sides. Floor is pretty good (I also used a ground mat). The only negative is using the ends doors as awnings. The just don't cut it like the old canvas design awnings. None the less, i'm very happy with the tent. Did I also mention, rain and wind.......passed with flying colours in some pretty blustery conditions.

Definitely love this Big family tent! Kids love the spacious seperate room design and they can come in from side doors either. Large windows also can be pole out as awnings. We haven’t used for camping yet. Tested at home to set up as first time took longer than expected but overall it’s easy to learn and set up. It’s comfy and cool inside when we used in backyard even outside is hot. Good ventilation. The website video is quite useful we always refer back to video if not sure the next step.

This tent is truely excellent, easy to put up & down, very roomy inside and was dry even in some very bad storms. Coped with two jumbo stretchers, kids bunk beds, our dogs fold out camp stretcher, plus luggage & allowed our camp chairs and table when the weather was wet. I loved all the extra vents for airflow so you didn't get cooked when it was hot. There is actually nothing bad to say about this tent, well designed and a good price! One happy camper!

Bought this tent to replace our old one which had lasted 20 years. First time we used it (last year) we ended up getting hit with the remnant of a cyclone! One rope loop broke and the tent was being blown sideways all night and was rubbing on our fridge (which we had moved to the middle of the room). Wore a hole in tent and fly. I was pretty upset that our brand new tent was damaged - not the tents fault - ours for staying when the weather got really bad. I easily repaired the damage. We just used the tent again in perfect weather. It’s a great tent. Very big. We fit two jumbo camp beds in one end but the way we directioned them meant we couldn’t zip up bedroom door. It’s just the two of us so that didn’t matter. We might try putting them in a different direction ... MoreBought this tent to replace our old one which had lasted 20 years. It’s just the two of us so that didn’t matter. We might try putting them in a different direction next time. We had plenty of room for all our kitchen stuff in middle room and storage in third room. I wish there was a pocket just inside the door like our old tent, for keys etc - the pockets are on bedroom walls. Also there are tabs around the tent for running electrical cords, but not on ALL walls which was annoying. Tent is easy to put up and down. We watched video the day before we got there just to remind us. Always need reminding how to fold it to get it all back in bags. Tip: The guys in the video are tall and make it look easier than it is. They tell you to put up each end and work from there, but if you’re short you can’t reach all the clips and tie downs. It’s easier to do from left to right. Very happy with this tent and would recommend. My brother has the same tent and loves it too.
We bought the Brampton tent about 12 years ago for our family of five. It had plenty of room to comfortably fit two adults, three primary school aged kids, and all of our belongings. The extra room was great for those wet days when everyone was confined to the tent, didn’t feel crowded at all. Also never leaked on rainy days, and there was plenty of airflow during the hotter days. We used it A LOT back then. And now our kids still use it to go camping or take to festivals with their friends. Setting up was easy enough even for them to figure out. Although it seemed pricey at the time, I’m glad we spent the money to get this tent as it was great quality and has lasted really well over the decade. We have definitely gotten our money’s worth from this tent for sure.
This is our first tent purchase as we gear up for more family camping. After our first trip, we can confidently say its the best investment! We are a family of four with 2 smaller kids, which made the Brampton the ideal size. Kids at one end, parents in the other, and plenty of storage space in the middle for all our gear.We comfortably fit a queen bed & portaloo with space around to walk, all in one room! Not many other 3room tents seemed to have this much space. The room dividers are a great feature and the fact they have storage pockets if you want to open up everything is a bonus. I have this tent for a while now. This tent is massive and a lot of room. I attached 2 extra owning accessories in front to accommodate more sheltered area. The tent divided into 2 bags, so easy to transport. The setup is simple, but you need to follow the instruction manual to do it right. You don’t go wrong with Brampton.
After so much research, looking for a 3 room family tent for longer trips, I confidently settled on the Brampton, and glad I did. I compared it to some more popular "instant up" / dark tents from more well known brands, and have watched mine stand up well in a really heavy windy storm while other similar tents folded in, tore and failed under stress.1) The fly material is really good. Significantly better than competitors I compared it to.2) The pole system, while not "instant", is thicker and stronger than competitors, very intuitive, and really stable. When the last storm came in, I hadn't even bothered with the guy ropes at first, and it was doing better than others with guy ropes up. I love the long spine along the top. Makes the whole structure very rigid.3) ... MoreAfter so much research, looking for a 3 room family tent for longer trips, I confidently settled on the Brampton, and glad I did. The Brampton opens up with huge windows and doors, while keeping it sealed from bugs, and you can close the inner window for privacy in a second at any window or door. Really practical & effective.4) I love how the entire side can be lifted up in one long veranda, all zipped together. And it doesnt have a front or a back...its the same along both sides. The ends open up well and create a huge 360deg veranda for shade.5) Separate bags for tent & poles. Bags are extra big and easy to store the tent in.
I purchased a Brampton Tent about 6 years ago for camping for a family of 4. We have used many times for holidays for up to two weeks at a time. I have had a few cheaper style dome tents previously and a Coleman instant pop up. The Coleman turned out not to be very instant and was sent back to the manufacturer after its first use. I purchased the Brampton straight after this and can’t speak highly enough about it. It is a fantastic and versatile tent that can withstand all type of conditions. It withstood 100km winds at Wilson’s Promotory while many other tents and pergolas were destroyed. The only downside to this tent is that you need a big campsite to fully utilise the it. Other than that if you buy it you won’t be disappointed.
Brought a Brampton over a year ago. used it twice for short camping trip checked it before our next trip and the zips have all corroded. Contacted Outdoor connection as our tent has a 3 year warranty and all they can do is send me out new zip sliders to replace at my own cost which will cost more than the tent is worth. Should have gone to Kmart and not wasted nearly $700 for something that doesn't last a year. very poor quality zip sliders. Don't waste your money on their products. Even when you tell them the tent has been properly cleaned between uses they tell you your lying and haven't cleaned the tent or zips. Now stuck with a useless tent and had to purchase a new one before going away on next trip.
