We love to be able to keep an eye and ear on baby while he sleeps. The option for background noise while the app is closed is a great feature. Would definitely recommend:)

If this camera monitor stayed connected 10% of the time I try to use it it be a miracle. You’d think for a device you spent 100+ on would be better than a vetch device and you’d be wrong it’s constantly disconnected from the Wi-Fi and the reconnection process is long not overly easy. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!

I will tell anyone who listens not to buy an owlet. As a new mom, I received the owlet off of my registry because I had assumed that it was the best since it’s so heavily advertised. It literally never connects to the internet, when it does it’s shorty at best and it doesn’t record the feed. Do yourself a favor and buy something different

Definitely a wonderful product for the money spent. The camera quality is clear, audio is wonderful. This was one of the best gifts that I got at my baby shower. It's easy to use and easy to set up.. and I can use it on my phone which works well for our house which is 4600 square feet, so no issues with it not working in certain parts of the house.
We have been using the Owlet Cam for two months now and have found it to be reliable. The Owlet app allows for clear daytime/nighttime imaging, shows the temperature and humidity in the babies room and even allows you to talk to the baby! The app also notifies you to “cry” and “sound” detections. The only cons are baby movements and sounds can sometimes be delayed by 5 seconds and we’ve had to restart the app a few times in order to hear sounds but other than that we are happy with our purchase.
I never write negative review but felt compelled to warn people about this product, This baby monitor is truly awful. It constantly shuts off or cannot load at all. The wifi on the camera is terrible. Unless you want to wake up panicked in the middle of the night because your baby monitor hasn’t been working for hours, don’t buy this.
Purchased this item for our newborn nursery. We were unable to set up the camera, even after spending 40 minutes on the phone with Owlet support and troubleshooting online on multiple sites. They eventually blamed the Owlet app, saying an update was needed and would be done within a week. The item still wouldn’t work a week later. There was some issue with simply scanning a QR code (seems pretty basic). We decided to return the camera as it’s concerning to have issues with basic set up when the camera is supposed to help keep our newborn safe and monitor sleep tracking. Upon reading more into Owlet reviews as part of the troubleshooting process, it was concerning how many people claim to have recurrent connection issues even after set up of the camera. I looked everywhere to find the best camera for my baby. After reading the reviews online, I decided t purchase Owlet Camera since they have a lot of good reviews. And you know what ? I think that I made the right decision since the Camera is very good, it can record voice and video. Clear pics and clear voice
The camera is great, very clear image. But the app you need to use is terrible. There are so many awful reviews for it this past year. Tech support isn’t helpful either because the app needs to be revised It cuts out a lot, the sound works on an off. Overnight my app cuts out and I don’t get notifications. It’s not a wifi, router issue (we’ve done all the troubleshooting).
I received this as a baby shower present and recently started using it. It keeps asking me to try again when my phone connects to the cam. Once the cam connects, the image freezes and sounds doesn’t always work. Very disappointed with this cam, looking to purchase a new, reliable one.
