My house rabbits love Oxbow Natural Science Digestive Support treats. They are easy to snap in half for a perfect amount based on your small pet’s weight. I love that the primary ingredient is timothy hay, and my bunnies come running to the aromatics of chicory, ginger, and camomile. Excellent way to support gastrointestinal health in rabbits and prevent GI stasis!

Our rabbit has always had issues with his tummy and almost always had runny poos, we had changed his diet so many times and it made no difference. I was recommended these to try by another rabbit owner and they have completely cleared up his wet poos. He has been having these now for over 6 month and they make the world of difference.

My mini Rex rabbit loved these “treats” and I often see that she even eats the other half which my mini lop doesn’t like. I worry about my buns getting GI stasis, but I think that this is a pretty good product to help prevent that. I’ve been a bunny parent for years now and believe me, it’s hard! I’m always worrying about what’s good for them and what could happen to them if I gave them something new! Lots of rabbit treats that are sold could potentially kill your rabbit or make them sick. They have very sensitive stomaches. The only think I’m really going to pick at is that this product has cane molasses, which aren’t very good for your pet rabbit. Otherwise so far this product is great and I might just definitely buy it again!
I definitely recommend you buy these! My one Guinea pig had loose droppings a while back and I was beginning to worry, then I was recommended these by several youtubers so I gave it a try. And I wasn't at all disappointed! Her droppings are now normal and she is her happy healthy self again! Even now I use them as a regular supplement for all my piggies! Definitely 5 stars!
I constantly worry about my rabbits digestive health. He's had some minor issues in the past that I've consulted with a vet about. We just moved a few months ago, its shedding season, and he likes to chew things he shouldn't. I've used papaya tablets from a different company in the past and I didn't see much change in his behavior. He's been pretty lethargic but still eating and drinking regularly. I decided to buy these on a whim and I'm so glad I did. After starting these, my rabbit has been so much more active. Jumping on the bed to wake me up again, doing zoomies, jumping on the couch for pets and more binkies. Only ingredient that worries me is molasses, but my rabbit is doing better than ever.
My bun has an issue with easily getting soft stool. The vet recommended these. She absolutely loves them. Stands on her back legs and begs for them. Has never done that with any other food before. So cute. I just wish they weren’t out of stock.
My house rabbits have never been fond of licorice flavored "treats", but I always keep this on hand to use when they seem to have digestive issues, and in most cases it helps. When they're feeling bad, they have no qualms eating these. I've used this product for many years. I'd like to use it more often as a treat, but they just don't like the taste, which is why I didn't give it 5 stars.
I tried these because I wanted a healthy treat for my rabbit. Unfortunately, she would smell them and seem interested, but wouldn’t eat them.Since I didn’t want to waste the bag, I made them into something else she would eat. I soaked a bunch of the tablets in water, blended them and then gradually added small bits of banana until she would eat the slurry. I then froze the slurry and made little balls out of it that I now keep in the freezer, and she loves them! Just thought I would share in case someone else had a bag laying around their pets wouldn’t eat. It didn’t take a lot of banana to entice her either (<1oz to 20 tablets soaked in ~3.5 oz water) so it’s still a somewhat healthy treat!
After looking through all I was giving my rabbit (to see how I could lessen his calcium intake), I noticed that almost ALL of Oxbow’s Supplement Tablets have an unnecessarily high amount of calcium!!! I think these tablets may have been the cause for my rabbit’s urinary issues. I plan to just stick to the other supplement tabs I bought from a widely known ‘worry-free’ company, without all the junk and bad stuff that Oxbow includes. Unfortunately I have to get rid of these when I purchased many “back-up” bags, months ago. I thought Oxbow would know better. It is ultimately my fault for not researching the ingredients and percentages and just thinking I could trust this company blindly... I will be more mindful of every single thing my rabbit ingests from here on out. ... Hopefully one day Oxbow will change their supplement formula and make them much more healthier so that they are actually able to serve their purpose successfully, without creating new problems! Right now they just seem like junk food treats to me. It’s a shame because I purchased many bags so that I wouldn’t run out of all the supplement tablets they offer. I strongly believe these supplement tablets have given my rabbit urinary issues. I have definitely learned from this mistake. Never blindly trust a company especially when diet is so important to our fur babies, especially bunnies & piggies. This issue has made me think long and hard about my rabbits diet and ways I can improve it. I am always learning and trying to be a better bunny mom. This has definitely taught me a lesson. Unfortunately I have about 10 different bags that will be thrown out. Sad to say that money is wasted. But I will not keep giving these to my rabbit after noticing the high amount of calcium and witnessing my rabbit having urinary issues which I believe is directly linked to these.
