OXO Good Grips Egg Beater

This Eggbeater is a whole different animal than all the other eggbeaters on the market. Just the ability to easily take apart the beaters makes it different but to be able to take the whole beater apart (top section from the bottom!!!) with just a pust of a button to clean it - well it's totally unthinkable until now. Best Eggbeater Ever

I had an eggbeater that I had used for years, but I saw this one in a BBand B store and bought it on impulse. One of my best buys ever. Easy to use and best of all, easy to clean. the round, thin shape of the beaters washes off super easy. I have since purchased 7 more of these beaters and given them to children and grandchildren. Have even whipped cream manually with this beater!

I actually collect hand mixers. I have several over 100 years old. I was gifted this one and love it! OXO products are great and this one is too. It cranks smoothly and easily. It's fun to use and easy to clean. Perfect when you just have the little job when you don't want to drag out the stand mixer or the cord mixer. Kids like it too.

It beats other manual egg beaters!

I am not often a fan of OXO products, but I am delighted to have found this one. Sometimes a recipe wants me to add the egg(s) BEATEN. I have a hand mixer, but this manual beater is right there and ready to use. It's quick and works well. I would definitelyrecommend it.

Perfect Tool for Perfectly Scrambled Eggs!

I bought one of these several years ago, and it's worked like a champ every weekend. I can't cook many things well, but I am a master of the scrambled egg. I have found that only a careful hand-crank mixer application produces absolutely perfect scrambled eggs, and this has been ideal for this task.However, lately it seems that the beater base has shrunk and will no longer snap onto the handle portion. This seemed odd, and I was a little disappointed, but I blamed it on our new dishwasher.Since I had already enjoyed several years of use, I was ready to happily pay another twenty bucks for a replacement, but I also decided to pass this information along to OXO. Seems robust and is comfortable to handle

Well made hand whisk. Ive had so many electric whisks and they just burn out so quickly. This is comfy to grip and the handle turns with ease. Parts disassemble/ assemble easily to aid washing. Whisked up some egg whites quickly. So handy. Would definitely recommend.

Simple for people with Hand Problems BUT Great for all

Mums been using this mixer for some time now, as she has bad hand and finding using a hand mixer herts her hand and tires her out. She loves the fact that you cand disamble the beaters for cleaning.

The perfect design for a child's hand!

I bought this hand mixer for both my daughter-in-law and my four year old grandson who loves to bake with his mom! She had given her electric hand mixer to her mom and told me she wanted a hand- cranked mixer. When I saw this mixer I knew it was the perfect gift for the two of them to share their baking time together. This mixer is made by a well known kitchen gadget company and is not a flimsy toy!

Works great but NOT dishwasher safe

I read all the customer reviews on this product as I usually do before buying anything in the store. Looked carefully at the product online and read every review. When I went to the store and looked at the product in person, I could see how ALL plastic parts of this product might end up getting distorted from it's production normal shape that is usually caused by the high heat temperatures in every single brand of automatic dishwasher (can happen even if on the top rack of the machine). I used it to beat six large whole eggs to make a set of 6 crustless quiche lorraine. The beaters are easily turned but, because I had such a large volume, it took a lot more effort on my part. And, I won't have to haul out the cumbersome electric hand mixer and will be able to use this improved retro hand operater egg beaters right in my glass pyrex measuring cup. It comes apart without difficulty and is both easily and quickly handwashed & rinsed. I appreciate the fact that the two major sections can be left apart before use and easily stored in a kitchen drawer. Highly recommended but keep this little gem OUT of the automatic dishwasher and it will last you a whole lot longer with TLC ;).

You can’t wash it in the dishwasher

It works very well. But if you dry it in a dishwasher, the plastic part deforms quickly. My first one didn’t click when we combined the end part to the base, after about 3 or 4 times of washing in dishwasher. My second one, I made sure I didn’t put the base in the washer. However, after about a year, the end part shrunk and completely deformed , I had to get rid of it, too. I wonder if I will buy it again and be determined only to wash by hand.
