I had not heard of this before my mother described it. I got it for her birthday and we used it on grape sized tomatoes. It worked great! The cutter cuts the tomato into four pieces, making it the right size for a salad. I highly recommend it!

Easy to use tottally recommend
Can't comment on how and whether this works well as it is a gift for somebody else but it looks and feels good and it's one of those things you just "have to have" in the kitchen.
I have two little and this gadget saves so much time by quartering the grapes! Now I don't have to worry about choking!
