I bought this item to use up what was left on a gift card. Well, I was sure glad that I did! This turner has made turning over my omelets a breeze! It covers enough of the bottom that you can turn them without breaking them apart. And with the great flexibility it has, you never have to worry about breaking up anything you turn with this. I have even used this while using my iron blackening pan. Once again it covers a big area of the protein, and will not melt. I love this thing!

My pancakes have improved! This Oxo Large Nylon Flexible Turner has made my life better. It is wide enough, thin enough, and strong enough to get fully under my blueberry pancakes so I can turn them without splattering or skidding them across the griddle. It's easy to clean and easy to grip too.

I have always used a regular spatula for turning food as I fry them. I should have used this tool always. It is so much easier. The turner part of the tool is really thin yet strong so it makes it so easy to scoop the food and flip it. It's my fo to kitchen tool now.

Too wide; too flexible; just not normal! This Large Turner takes up too much space in my utensil bucket and sometimes I think it's going to break; perhaps I should have purchased the smaller one.
The large flexible turner works excellent when I’m using it to prepare my family’s meals. I use the flexible turner to flip the pancakes, eggs ,bacon, steak, etc.. and I’m always able to get a great grip on the handle. The flexible turner is of great material I use it everyday to prepare the meals and It has not slipped of my hands. The flexible turner is of excellent material and after many washes and uses it still looks brand new. I like to wash my turner with a soft sponge to help preserve its condition. The flexible turner has not peeled my pots and pans and is still looking great. I definitely recommend the flexible turner.
Just like it says - it's large and flexible. What isn't said is that it's not really for anything heavy. Making big cookies? This is for you. Making a thick pancake or something heavier than that cookie? This will flex in the down direction so back in the pan your item will go if you aren't extra careful. I'll be getting something a little less flexible for my salmon and eggs and other heavy items I cook on a regular basis.
I love Oxo products. This one is no exception. However, this spatula is different than the previous ones they made in the past. The handle is different and is attached different to the spatula. It works wonderfully for pancakes or fish or omelets. The problem is that the silicone spatula part has already started to peel at the tip. It is not going to have the longevity of the previous ones I've owned in the past. Don't get me wrong. I love this normal size spatula. I will use it til it is unusable. I just will think long and hard before investing anymore money in a kitchen tool that's time is so short lived.
We make eggs over-easy quite frequently so I was looking for something flexible to get under the edges without breaking my yolks when it was time to flip. For flexibility this is perfect, but it's so big it's hard to maneuver around the pan. It was hard to judge the size when ordering online, but I wish I had gotten the smaller one instead. I'm still giving it 5 stars since it's a great product. Instead of returning for the other size we decided to keep it for flipping pancakes instead. (The large size is perfectly suited for that!) The edges of the nylon head haven't melted with use, and it washes nicely in the dishwasher. It's a sturdy, quality item, but I just picked the wrong size for my needs.
I've been looking for something like this. Strong enough to flip anything, but flexible and thin enough to get under anything without destroying it. I even use on fish in my Airfryer which is a very steep angle and it works amazing. I tried several fish spatulas They are always to stiff and thicker at the end; they are no match for this thing.
I wanted to replace the Good Grips Turner I already had with this one. The new one is a little too flexible, not like the the old one. I kept it & use it occasionally use it but mostly still use the old one. Sometimes it’s a disadvantage to order online.
