OXO Good Grips Pop 2.0 10-Piece Container Set

So I have had these off and on for 10 years. I love the concept but have a love hate mostly love relationship with the product. First I will say they do hold the food well and keep it fresher longer. They do come apart in the lid area for thorough cleaning hut it is not always easy to get them back together. Next we have the lids! (siggghhh) I love that they click down from the pop up circle in the middle and in theory create an airtight hold. However this does not always happen or stay depending on if you get a defective lid, or maybe the plastic isn’t fitting just perfect. It will stay shut but it is just sitting there like a cookie jar lid sometimes so beware. Some lids lock down and you can pull up and that sucker is not coming off. That being said I love how they look for storing and a lot of them do work. So I still use them and just keep in mind to be careful with the lids. Overall I recommend them I have not found anything similar that works any better.

Airtight

I got my OXO good grip container in a 1.7 qt size and I love it. I love baking and use a lot of walnuts, pecans, and pistachios in my baking so I buy them in bulk. Only problem is they taste stale if not stored in a good airtight container. That is where this wonderful airtight container by OXO comes in handy. I decided to use it with my pecans and I am so happy with it that I have ordered a couple more in larger sizes for my other nuts. The airtight seal works great. It is super easy to use. Just push button down for airtight seal and push again to release the seal. Very happy highly recommended it.

Awesome container

So far I love this container! The quality is great and it is actually durable too! I love the size of this container too. It is perfect to store different things in, like coffee, cereal or even rice! Pretty much whatever you can think of, you can store in it! It is 1.7 liters and actually holds quite a bit! I also LOVE how wel this container seals! The seal is super tight! It is easy to open and close the container too! Just press the button on the lid and it closes and seals nicely! Then press it again when you want to open it. Best containers I have found for dry goods

I first saw the OXO Pop containers in another store, I tried the seals on the display there because I have been disappointed with other containers before. I found they were very easy to open and close and have a nice tight fit. They are for dry storage only and they are dishwasher safe on the top rack. I bought a set there. I hand washed mine since there was so many in the set they couldn't all fit in the dishwasher in one load on the top rack. It was easy to disassemble and reassemble. After hand drying I left them apart for awhile to make sure they were very dry. So then I wanted some different pieces and I found a 10 piece set here on Bed Bath and Beyond. I just received it yesterday. Easy open and close

This OXO Good Grips pop container is just the perfect size for so many things. I am currently using mine for storing black eyed peas that we recently dried. The lid of the container is simple and easy to use. Just push and pop the center button up to unseal and push down to seal. When the center button is in the up position it gives you a handle to make removing the lid a breeze. The container will hold 1.1 quarts which is great for a pound of brown sugar, tea bags or coffee. Keeps products fresh

I’m giving this Pop container 5 stars because it does provide a good seal and helps keep products fresh however, it states that the button can double as a handle for the lid only. Don’t use the handle to carry it because you will spill the contents out. Once you push the button down, it helps seal the container.This container is the 1.7 qt. size and is ideal for items such as coffee, regular or brown sugar, etc. I have some leftover coffee grounds in mine now that were originally in the bag they came in but I didn’t want the coffee to taste stale so I moved it into this container which keeps it fresh.This is easy to wash and is dishwasher safe. It’s easy to dissemble & reassemble. Definitely a product I would purchase again especially different sizes.

Many reasons to love these!

I love these OXO POP containers because they do exactly as advertised. They REALLY do seal air-tight! And I have several good reasons for having securely sealed containers in my kitchen.First, bugs! (sorry) We live wayyy out in the woods and our climate attracts ants and food moths. These are the best containers I’ve ever used for keeping those “friends” out of my cupboards. And, bonus, the shape makes my shelves look so tidy and organized.Another reason I love these?Refrigerator storage for stinky things!I use a lot of strong smelling foods (garlic, kimchi, etc) in my cooking. Even in a jar or plastic baggie, you can STILL smell the items in my ‘fridge! Not great when you ALSO have half a chocolate cake in there. These containers look pretty for a day & they stack well, that's it! I was willing to pay for a premium for an innovative storage idea, with airtight pop lids to seal my dry goods - but as many other reviewers have said, the lid doesn't actually seal. The pop design does absolutely nothing. Plus, without a seal, you can't grab the container by the top (which you'll want to do, promise), and there aren't any handles, making them extremely awkward to handle & quickly covered in messy finger prints! If that's not enough - they aren't easy to clean either. The brand says "hand washing is recommended" it doesn't directly say NOT dishwasher safe, so I'll tell you - they melt in the DW. Perfect for toddler snacks!

After trying the OXO Pop containers for a couple weeks, I actually went out and bought two more! They look modern and sleek in my kitchen and I love the look of them. I have a toddler and we usually have a few bags of open snacks that usually go stale because the bags don’t close like they are supposed to. I started putting my toddler’s graham cracker cookies and yogurt melts in these containers and they are absolutely perfect! These usually go stale quickly and these containers have kept them fresh now for going on over a week! I love that the lid kind of locks- it helps keep little hands out of the snacks when they aren’t supposed to have them! On top of that, they are really easy to clean!
