A cooling and baking rack is an essential in any kitchen and this one from OXO is the last one I'll ever need! I reach for it many times a week. It is the perfect resting place for a full batch of cookies. It sits securely on a baking sheet and helps veggies roast evenly. It has handles that make it easy to transfer. Once I'm done using it, it washes easily with a little soap and hot water, otherwise I put it in the dishwasher. The versatility and quality is what sets this product above other cooling racks and it's earned it a permanent spot in my kitchen.

I love this rack. I have a few smaller cooling racks and didn't think I need one that fit in my half-sheet pans for the oven, especially since I'm a vegetarian, but I was wrong! I love that this fits perfectly in my pan. So far I've used it in the oven to bake fries and also eggplant for eggplant parmesan. It works very well to keep air circulating so everything gets crisper faster and nothing stuck to the rack. It's also fantastic that it's dishwasher safe, a big bonus for me. The little handles are so useful for lifting the rack. It's also fantastic for drizzle cakes. And it's perfect for cooling cookies and cakes, of course. I purchased these to go with the OXO pan. We have lots of racks, but I believe in OXO so I purchased them for bacon, yes bacon. As we have bad backs it is easier to bake bacon, taste is just as great as frying just a bit different.The bacon residue was making horrible to clean the other racks... OXO just a sponge without effort! Note we DO NOT spray the racks with oil, if desired butter works great. OXO states... NEVER use oil spray. You don't need to on any of their bakeware so don't. I have only ever used a sponge. First they only need a sponge and second I don't want to scratch the pans. We never use the scrub side of the sponge.If you decide to bake bacon I recommend always putting foil in the pan so you can throw away the grease in the trash.

I was thrilled to find these fit my 1/2 sheet pans. Bought them for baking bacon.After the first use we soap and water cleaned them with a little elbow grease.they seem to stick more with each new bacon batch and require much soaking, soaping and brush and sponge rubbing. Very disappointed that they do not clean as easily as they suggest. Love them for every other use...takes way too long to clean the residue from between all those little squares. Wonder if I just bought two detective racks?
I was excited to see this item and use it to make super easy, crispy bacon in the oven (much cleaner and better than on the stove!). Unfortunately, it doesn’t fit any of our half-sheet size cookie sheets. It says it fits “standard” half sheet pans, 18” x 13”. We have several and they’re all 18” x 12” (both expensive and cheap ones). We just hang one leg of the rack over the long edge of the pan, making sure to hold the rack when placing the pan in and out of the oven, so it doesn’t slide around. It still works but just a little disappointing, so only four stars. We still like it and will use it for other things, too.

At first we loved the rack. Things didn't stick, dishwasher-safe, what more can you ask for. We've never exceeded 450F with the rack in the oven. But after several dishwasher cleanings, it felt like the rack's coating was getting stripped away. Now everything sticks to the rack and if we clean it in the dishwasher, rust appears. Now it's hand-wash only and it's quite a pain to do so, things get stuck in the nooks and crannies. Probably better as a cooling rack than a baking rack.Expect to need a new one within a year or two.
I love cooking on a wire rack instead of just on the sheet pan. Crispy food is my fav and it lets the heat circulate. This rack cooks amazing and makes veggies crispy. The problem is the cleanup. It doesn’t fit into the pan for soaking like other wire racks since it had a handle. It’s impossible to soak which makes it difficult to clean, especially to get the oil off that was used on the veggies. I use my stainless steel ones because they are less of a hassle
I love this OXO Nonstick Cooling and Baking Rack. I love wire pattern because when you are using it as a baking rack nothing slips through like other racks. It fits nicely on my half sheet pan and keeps your food raised enough for air circulation. I used it to cook marinated boneless spare ribs which had a very sticky sauce at 450 degrees and found no warping of this rack and the spare ribs were not stuck to the rack. I love the handles on each end so you can easily lift the rack whether you are using for cooking or cooling. It is easy to clean with just hot soapy water and a sponge. I highly recommend this cooling and baking rack, it is perfect for my cooking needs.
The OXO Non-Stick Cooling and Baking Rack is exactly what I was looking for. Not only great for cooling all of my baked goods, but perfect for cooking my brown sugar bacon. This rack holds a nice amount of bacon and can be placed into the oven up to 450 degrees! No sticking and comes out perfect. Best thing is, it's also dishwasher safe. The two handles are easy to hold and lift. I've cooled pound cake, banana bread, cookies and muffins. This rack offers great circulation! So pleased with its durability and results. Heavy duty!
