Bought one, exchanged it thinking it was faulty because it wouldn't turn on the 2nd time I went to use it. The replacement unit had the same issue, the on/off button doesn't work. Visually it appears to be heavy duty so maybe it's just a bad batch with broken on/off buttons, not risking getting another replacement so I will be returning this one and spending the extra $50 for the Ryobi laser level instead.

After all the negative reviews I was definitely sceptical, especially as it was half the price of the next cheapest laser level.My experience so far has been great. The red lines are very bright indoors with a lot of ambient light around. I've checked the laser line with a spirit level and it seems spot on.The female screw thread on the bottom made it easy to mount to my camera tripod and position it in the centre of the room. It's certainly going to setting out my kitchen splashback tiles a much less frustrating task.

I should of just spent the extra $50 on the Ryobi.This thing is useless unless in a pitch black room. Makes it pointless when light is needed to see what your doing much faster to just use a tape measure for half the price that. Spend more time adding around with this toy

Can't see more than 2m outdoors. Back to the chalk line as this was not great.
Straight out if the box, turns on and laser dosnt shine at all. Buggered. Returning tommorrow. Lowest prices are just the beginning...
