It is suitable for my smallish lawn area and does a good job keeping it tidy. The catcher is not huge but large enough and easy to remove and replace. The mower comes boxed and you have to attach the handle yourself. Easy enough. The catcher comes in two pieces which must be clipped together. I found that a bit fiddly

Bought it today. The catcher is tricky to assemble. The trick is to clip the two pieces one by one by pressing on the clip inward as you press it together which will cause a click noise. Repeat and the catcher works well, albeit tiny.The mower itself stopped a couple of times when the catcher was full or when the grass was simply to dense, wait 3 minutes and it would start again. The trick is to lift its front wheels a bit by leaning down on the handle when cutting dense grass and it should keep going.Overall, I got this for a quarter of the price I was about to pay for a battery powered mower and this corded one has done the job quite well. Recommended for small lawns.

My old Briggs and Stratton died after our last lot of floods and was unrepairable. Needed something to mow the small front and back lawn and this was one of the cheapest options I could find and was not disappointed. Catcher requires patience but can be assembled with a minimum of swearing and I advise starting from the back then working around each side until done. It's not the biggest so I would suggest investing in a large garden bag or Blue IKEA bag to keep close by for emptying the catcher into. For $115 it's got a surprisingly powerful motor, very light weight does a great job. The only downside is having to move the power cord around but at least you're not having to hope you put the battery on charge the night before.

The grass gets caught up in the blade area and stays in the blade area. The blade and motor then chocked. You then need to turn the mower over and dig the grass out eg no grass ends up in the catcher. I dont remember this being an issue with my dad's petrol mower.The issue is not there on shorter and dryer grass.Most of the grass ends up back on your lawn and not in the green bin.The catcher was a pain to assemble, but doable. I am so impressed with this little beauty.If your older, slower or don't have a lot of strength, this is the one for you.It's very light weight and can be pushed with one hand.So simple and easy to startPutting the catcher together is impossible, BUT nothing that some cloth tape couldn't fix!It doesn't take away from how happy I am with this.The catcher is small, so you will have to stop more often.Be sure to buy yourself a heavy duty extension cord at the same time.Perfect for the smaller yard.Excellent value for the money.
The mower is light and plasticy but works fine for small lawns. It is very simple in design and operation and works well. Changing the cutting height is a bit challenging but now it is set I will not change it again. The catcher works well. It took a little while to get the catcher halves together but once done I have had no trouble with it. The mower is quite narrow so is only suitable for small lawns. The cord requires some management but this is only a matter of working out what works best. Overall, very happy given the price and the small amount of lawn I have to mow.

Neither the manual or the website mention operating the mower without the catcher on, but I found reviews where people did and confidently stated that it was okay to do so. Without a catcher, a small amount of cuttings will fill the opening at the back initially, blocked by the safety trap, but the rest will just disperse properly on the lawn. I found I needed to remove and disperse that small amount left — a large handful at most — before putting the mower away.Overall very satisfied. Didn't need any more than that, and at that price, you can't really go wrong.
