Picked up one of these on special just because, and my old workhorse was getting a little clunky and begging me to put it into the reserve team. Finally got it out for a proper run on today, and gave it a proper hiding cutting and grinding, and its a proper beast. No lack of power or balance,maybe a little heavier than some others, but for the price and warrantee its unbeatable

I had to replace my old grinder as it chewed the bushes up. Now this thing chews everything.However the handle has become a little loose. Hope this isn't an indication of trouble to come.

Feels a bit heavier than the average 5 inch 240v AC grinder but it's 1200w not 700w like my Bosch . The Ozito has heaps of power so hold on tight, worked great for some odd jobs . Only had it for a month so this isn't a long term durability review but Bunnings is good for warranty claims if needed .

Good size, strong, very well priced, for domestic use. I did have an issue in buying blades as not all 125mm disks fit this grinder. I had to go into the store (after contactless pickup of the grinder and spare blade) show what was given and had a tradie show me other options that worked.
I have an expensive brand cordless grinder, but needed to grind down a concrete wall. The battery version was just not going to cut it.Took a chance and got this seemingly cheap grinder, but it impressed me by grinding down that wall and never missing a beat. Such good value.
This unit can grind all day (non bruchless) and will beat bigger brand names. For the price it's in a leuge of it's own. Spare brushes including.
Bought a month ago and used only twice. The trigger switch is stuck in the ‘on’ position. The torque reaction you get when trying to hold the grinder and plug it in at the same time, is dangerous. This thing has a massive kick on start up. So, this one is going back for either a replacement or a different brand.
This is a " bang for buck" grinder.1200w means Hang On when you flick the switch. Steel / Alloy housing with good length of cord. Came with 3 grinding wheels. Only negative, for me, is that when using a cut-off blade the trigger type switch gives the wrist a bit of a workout after a while. The trigger style safely switch is on all newer grinders, old grinder was 20 years old, I'll just have to get used to it.
The grinder is a monster in size and power, after a couple year hiatus from corded tool i forgot how much power they have, it kicks like a mule(no soft start). It definitely looks and feels cheap. I would describe my usage as hard but occasional useJust note, this style of grinder with massive 1000W+ motor and rear trigger is useless for cutting as this position and distance from the wheel makes it impossible to cut accurately. The power and grip makes it really good for bulk material removal though, and is delegated to a grinding wheel and use my other grinders for cutting. The grinding wheels included are rubbish and can't even bring myself to go through the first one as its ridiculously slow at removing metal. All my gripes are easily overlooked for how cheap ... l left my Makita on a job site and needed to cut some steel and concrete on another job so I ducked over to Bunnings and bought the cheapest grinder I could get to use for the day. Got the job done and was happy with the deal/By chance my Makita finally died a week later so I decided to use the Ozito until it burnt out. I expected that would be a month, 4 years later and I'm still using this little ripper. Powerful, easy to use, and staggering life expectancy. I cop some grief on the job site for using it but I tell other trades to buy one and try it.
