Bang for your buck

Got a puncture on a Saturday afternoon, bought this to see me through until the Monday (my spare wasn’t suitable). Both Sunday and the Monday mornings this little beast took my 4x4 tyre from 5psi to 35psi in only 5 mins.Ignore the review below that says you need a 15A output (must be for something else) - this is a 12V machine so suitable for most (if not all) vehicles

Broke after 1 use

Used it once, the gauge itself was seemingly inaccurate compared my other air compressor I used to own. The needle never moved but air was clearly flowing and properly sealed. I gave up after the first use and went back to try it again, but it wouldn't turn on anymore. I've checked the fuse and wiring but its dead - would recommend paying more for something that you know you can rely on.

Broke our cigarette lighter!

Would be fine for a beach ball or inflatable SUP, or just one tyre, but to inflate our tyres after a sandy track it broke our cigarette lighter! Burnt through! Very expensive to repair. If you want to have an air compressor to inflate tyres I'd definitely recommend one with alligator clips. We returned this one.

Car Accessory Socket Should Have 15A
23 April 2022

This compressor is good value but it needs 14A/168W (see spec above or in manual). Make sure your car accessory socket can take at least 15A/180W. Some cars can take only 10A. This is why some reviewers said their fuse blown out after one use. Check your car owner's manual before buying this to save the hassle.

Cheap but not durable
24 May 2023

It often cuts out within a few minutes of using it (perhaps due to overheating, not certain about that though) so that alone is enough for me to not recommend it. It's a problem if you need to pump multiple tyres up to a high psi since once you've done the first few it might shut off before you can finish pumping the final tyre. Another problem I experienced was the cigarette lighter plug broke apart when unplugging it. As a result of these issues, I can't recommend this product and would suggest buying something that will be more reliable and last longer.

Disappointed
30 June 2021

I bought this pump earlier this year to replace a smaller Ozito pump as I need to inflate tyres on my car for caravan towing and needed a pump that was a bit quicker. The smaller pump worked really well, but I am disappointed with this version as the gauge is not accurate. I found that when I turned the pump off, then removed and reattached it to the tyre the pressure changed. I cannot be confident that the tyres have the same, let alone the right pressure. I had to by a digital pressure gauge to do a double check the pressure!

Great little pump.

I purchased this pump a couple of days ago to inflate the tyres on my golf buggy. Only took a couple of minutes per tyre to get them to the correct pressure. Perfect for the job. Very happy.

Simple and effective.

Purchased a few weeks ago. Used it a couple of times pumping up basket balls and tyres. Works a treat.Pressure guage works well and is accurate. Recommended.

Sometimes, quality can be found in the least expected places.

Purchased the 12V 150psi air compressor and for the price, this is a brilliant little tyre inflator.I use it on my motorcycle, which has high pressure tyres and i can literally watch the guage starting to rise as soon as its switched on.It took approximately 30 seconds for the rear tyre to go from 35 to 42 psi...and the same for the front tyre (from 30 to 36psi).Thats not bad for a small compressor! The accuracy of the pressure guage is pretty good and the length of the power cord and air line is also good. Why pay $120 - $150 for a compressor only to find it doesnt perform anything like its meant too (lots of reviews stating poor performance etc with these larger units). Not this little guy...it does what it says on the box...FULL STOP.Yes,its small so may ... MorePurchased the 12V 150psi air compressor and for the price, this is a brilliant little tyre inflator.I use it on my motorcycle, which has high pressure tyres and i can literally watch the guage starting to rise as soon as its switched on.It took approximately 30 seconds for the rear tyre to go from 35 to 42 psi...and the same for the front tyre (from 30 to 36psi).Thats not bad for a small compressor! The accuracy of the pressure guage is pretty good and the length of the power cord and air line is also good. Why pay $120 - $150 for a compressor only to find it doesnt perform anything like its meant too (lots of reviews stating poor performance etc with these larger units). Not this little guy...it does what it says on the box...FULL STOP.Yes,its small so may take a while (i didnt find this to be the case) but for the price, its one hell of a little powerhouse and if its anything like other Ozito products,it will last well beyond its expected life (especially being made of aluminium and not plastic).I have an Ozito electric whipper snipper that operates like new after 4 years of gardening abuse so im pretty confident with Ozito's reliabilty.Im very suprised with this compressor and very happy that i gave it a go...sometimes,quality can be found in the least expected places!

Well made
6 October 2020

Very solid construction, mainly aluminium. Air hose looks to be durable. Have tried it out to approx. 100psi and worked well. Three year warranty is a real plus, better in fact than many more expensive competitors. I would prefer a clip type attachment as some air does escape from the tyre as you unscrew the connector. Overall though, at this early stage, looks to be a good product.
