This is a whole lot more than you'd expect for $119 but don't think you're getting a professional machine. It even says on the side hobby use only. Nevertheless it has handled hardwood at very close to the maximum that will fit through the jaws and leaves a nice enough finish on wood. The table is very basic and the guide is tricky to get dead straight but I feel like I've had my money's worth already and the 3 yr warranty gives me real peace of mind. It certainly does everything I need it to.

Had to return this as it simply would not cut straight. Luckily I had not used it on any costly timber, otherwise it would have been disastrous.Tried everything to make it work, setting gaps correctly, increased tension, but nothing worked. It would start cutting and what looks to be straight, but then as you continue, it just runs off to one side. Very disappointed as I really hoped it would be a good buy. Took a video and showed the bunnings salesperson who could not refute the issue. Sorry bunnings :(

After getting frustrated tuning the blade, once set up, it works well for its size. I cut my dog bones up smaller to freeze. My son cuts heaps of pine for firewood. Another 50W on motor would have been great.

Bought it a few weeks ago. Previously had a Ryobi about the same size but it struggled to cut anything over 12 mm mdf. This rips through 19 mm mdf and pine likes butter without slowing down. Probably the only limit is the 200 mm throat but I have a drop, circular and jig saw as well and fullsize bandsaws at work. For home use, great little machine and 3 yr warranty. I wouldn't recommend any of the Ozito battery products as the batteries are junk, but I have quite a few of their electric tools and am happy with all of them.
I'm waiting on stock of a much larger bandsaw for my woodshop, but I needed something basic for a current project and this was the only thing in stock for 50km.Checking the blade was tracking and tensioning it was a bit of a pain, it sprung off three times on me before I sorted it, but no issues since.Have cut 25mm thick black bean on it for some curved side table legs, a little slow but no real drama. Resawed some 3" wide pine and some 2" wide cedar and camphor to see if it would be good enough for a bit of inlay work and while the sawn face is a bit rough, the thickness was consistent.Overall I'm much happier than I thought I would be with a saw at this price point and power level.

This is one of those things that you buy and wonder how you ever managed without it. I needed something to cut curves for a water feature I'm making for my wife's birthday. I have a jig saw but using that on a work bench had going to physio for a week. Cutting the curves in 6mm mdf was easy, accurate and put no strain on my back. The results were much better than the jig saw too. Then I found myself using it for just about everything from making very fine adjustments to cutting bits of 4x2, structural ply, etc. Very pleased with my addition.

Great for expensive woods, as you don't lose much wood to sawdust with each cutBad Points:- 200mm throat is smallest on the market, only good for very small craft-like jobs- Difficult to align the blades -- a pain with all bandsaws, but especially annoying with this one- Uses friction bushes, not bearings - so don't expect blades to last.- Safety guide has huge lateral movement, so refining your blade tracking to reduce lateral movement and have the blade track straight is a waste of time anyway.- to avoid them hitting the blade, you have to re-align friction guides every time you raise or lower blade shield. Rather than realign the guides individually, you just eyeball the gaps between the blade and the two lateral friction bushes, then lock the safety guide in place with the clamping screw. It's an ugly, hacky, and frankly bloody unsafe workaround, but it's functional enough and kinda works okay. Ozito however REALLY need to fix this -- having a loose, poorly machined, poorly aligned blade guide on a bandsaw that's aimed at novice /hobbyist wood workers is downright dangerous IMO. The design should be rectified and faulty items recalled for repair/replacement as a matter of sheer bloody principle!!- Underpowered. Struggles to cut softwood (radiata pine, western red cedar, Toona) over 40mm thick, despite its claims of 80mm max cutting thickness- Blades break frequently, despite proper blade tension... Gone through 3 of them in less than 12 months, and they snap under very little load, even without touching the friction bushes. Cheap machine = cheap blades with low quality steel and bad spot welds... you get what you pay for- Resawing? Unless it's balsa or Paulownia, you can forget it. If you have to resaw and have the money for it, then buy a proper bandsaw. Otherwise buy the proper thickness material you need instead, or else only resaw wood that is less than 40mm thick. It's too gutless to do anything other then cuts of thinner material... which in fairness, is basically what it's designed for, and it does it quite well.- Blades only come in one diameter (6mm), and only with 14tpi. Functional enough for what it does I suppose.Summation: Not bad for delicate craft work on softwood, pen turning blanks, cutting thin veneers of expensive softwoods, or curve cutting thin MDF sheets the size of A4 pieces of paper. It's basic, cheap, and very limited in its applications -- but if the above is all you need it for, then it is adequate for purpose. I use it for detailed cutting of veneers / inlays, and turn to my Sherwood 14 inch bandsaw for anything else. It saves me having to change blades on my larger machine, which is enough to warrant keeping it. Don't expect very much from it, and it won't disappoint you.But if you have the money to buy something else a bit bigger and better, then do so. It's a good and cheap learning platform for novice woodworkers new to bandsaws, but it's limitations will eventually have you moving on to something better.But seriously Ozito - do something about that shaky bandsaw guide... 7mm play in ANY safety shield is just diabolical.
AttentionI had this unit ,but buying the replacement blades are not available from Bunnings and they are hard to come by if bought elsewhere and you may have to order them internationally if you can find the supplier who has these 1400mm x 7mm blade replacement.
I’m a qualified cabinet maker and just wanted a small footprint bandsaw for home hobby work. I watched a YouTube video on tracking,tensioning and guide set up and followed those directions. I have got to say I’m impressed. I’ve used a lot of bandsaws over the years, but value for buck for a hobbyist bandsaw, I don’t think you could better this little beauty. And it comes with a three year warranty. Hopefully I won’t get to use the warranty, but it’s reassuring to know it there if needed. Also no warranty registration, simply keep the Bunnings receipt. 😎✅ Well done Ozoto!
