Avoid this item. Completely useless. Kinks even under pressureI honestly don’t know how they can sell this item. Do you not use this if you’re trying to clear water from the pool or anything else that requires the hose to curve around objects. Regardless of water pressure in the hose is so flimsy that it will kink and block the flow. I tried for ages to get this to work and finally ended up using a old pool hose instead. I recommend an alternative hose plus possibly a rubber connector for PVC pipes +2 stainless steel hose clamps to connect the alternative hose to this unit.

Bought the hose for use with a submersible pump but found that being a flat hose like this doesn't work well if it has to be bent, even a little bit. As the hose is meant to be used with submersible pumps, at some point the hose has to have a 90 degree bend when changing from the vertical to the horizontal when coming out of a tank, hole or flooded area. Being a flat hose the bend, however carefully managed, ends up being a pinch point which strangles the flow of water. Ended up using a self supporting corrugated 25mm pipe instead of the Ozito flat hose.

Useless. Purchased to use with a Ryobi dirty water submersible pump. The flat hose would cause the pump to stop working when attached. Not sure why, maybe not enough pressure from the pump. On the 1 or 2 occasions it did work, once the pump stopped the hose would collapse, causing the pump to not operate the next time the float switch was activated. No not buy! Go for a solid pipe or corrugated hose
Flow stops with even the slightest kink. Do not waste your money or time.
Hose was completely unrolled and laid flat on a gentle decline. First time water was pumped through the hose it was obvious there was a very high level of resistance as the flat tube was slo compressed it was stuck together. Tried to open hose but only successful at each end. Needed tp force garden hose with half a can of WD40 thorough entire hose to seperate two half of flat hose. Once this was achieved any water pumped through the tube would instantly cause kinks and twist blocking flow and straining pump. Spent several hours trying to find way to use this terrible and frustrating low quality hose but ended up disposing of it as the amount of time and frustration was so disappointing
I bought this hose kit at the same time with a water pump in Bunnings. However, opposite from 5-stars rating pump, I would give this pump installation kit ZERO star if possible. It's really hard to use, that the pipe always stick together due to packing, and it won't open fully unless a very strong water pressure. and you couldn't control how it laying down. When I try to make a turn and put it into the drainage, it folded all the time and water flow is not continues. Luckily I have a grey water hose from my caravan package, which is much easy to use and it fit my water pump perfectly. You could also find one from Bunnings as wellI would NOT recommend this product at all, unless you could find a solution to open the pipe completely.
I Brought this today, we had torrential rainfall, and this installation kit was simple and effective.I did read other reviews about issues, but I believe if you follow the instructions (Leave hose flat) it works perfect. Thats my experience, no issues and happy I got it.
I bought this with the Ozito pump to pump out my septic tank pump chamber which was full of fluid (not sewage). It worked, but the hose kinked very easily. It's difficult to make it go round bends (either vertically or horizontally) without it kinking and reducing the flow. When the pump turned off, some of the hose fell back into the tank, where it kinked so that it wouldn't let the fluid through when the pump turned on again. I got around it by pegging the other end of the hose to the ground. I would only recommend this if you haven't got a better hose available!
