I bought one of these to replace my Bosch multitool which I've had for 5 years and thrashed. Before even starting work with this ozito one, i could hear there was a problem with the gears, which meant none of the power was transferring to the blade. I returned it for a new one which was fine, until after about 4 hours of use when it died completely. I didn't use it for anything difficult or out of the ordinary, it just stopped working. Bunnings refunded me. Its a real shame because I've used Ozito tools before and had no issues, so a bit concerning for any future purchases with them.

I had never used a multitool before and I needed something to easily cut the bottom of door frame skirtings so I could fit some flooring planks beneath them.......this tool is great. Having completed a house renovation, I have used the Ozito multitool for a variety of tasks that would have been much more difficult without it. For cutting, I used it for:- door frame skirting- pvc pipe- aluminium edge trim for tiles- 3mm hardwood bracing panels- 2mm acrylic shower wall panel- venetian blind (top and bottom piece) when adjusting to fit in window- 18mm thick end filler panels for kitchen cabinets (and kickboards)I only used the sanding function slightly and appeared to work ok on small pieces of dressed pine but I'm not sure how it would go on a ... I bought another one though and it hasn't missed a beat since.- The multitool bits are aligned onto 4 pins and then tightened by a securing screw. One of the pins broke off on my first multitool. I believe that this occurred when the securing screw became loose whilst using.Recommendations:- Prior to and every so often during use, check that the securing screw is still tight.- Replace the supplied securing screw's spring washer with one that is more robust.- Replacement multitool bits can be found a lot cheaper online, elsewhere.

Someone recommended that I buy one of these tools(I'd never heard of them before) and I chose this cheap entry level one. I've been very pleased with how it works despite the relatively cheap price

The tool is great - robust and well made. Has a good range of attachments to get you started, but you will need to replace these after repeated use as they get blunt quickly as they are not high quality ( I would expect this for the price ). these attachments are consumables - and as such you just buy a higher quality replacement as you work through them. I’ve found the tool to be very versatile and I’m using it more and more. Fast becoming my favorite power tool.
This multitool is ok but not without issues. Some of the blades are weak and get blunt very quickly. The sandpaper constantly falls of the pad or moves, which makes it unusable. The tool itself vibrates too much, and requires you to hold it tightly which causes hand fatigue.I
I’ve had this tool for about 6 years and it’s been one of the most useful, “save my butt” tools I’ve ever owned during a few renovation projects. It’s very powerful, reliable and paired with better quality saws etc than what come in the box, is a real life saver for specific situations. I recently bought the cordless Ozito multi tool and can say it lacks the grunt and quality of this one. Have used this one countless times and it’s still going strong.
Fine for a while but died today. I've it a bit but extensively, mainly so sand corners and occasionnally cut holes. If I consider the per hour cost it's not very good value.
I deliberated for weeks over which cordless brand I woukd buy, then in an impulse, decided in a corded version. In my haste, I overlooked the fact that it is not toolless change. This, unfortunately, is a big drawback, considering it is a tool with many functions, and it's quite normal to make frequent changes. Apart from that, a handy, versatile tool.
I bought this about a month ago to cut some nails and sand in tight corners. The run time would be at most about 3 hours in that time. It worked well, until the little pins which hold the attachments on it came clean off in two spots, rendering it dangerous and unusable. The tool also heated up quite quickly, even when it was being used at the slowest speed, I think this is what caused the pins to become weak and break even though I was mindful to stop every 5 or so minutes to let it cool down.
As a petite female who takes on big tasks one small area at a time, i absolutely love this tool and very grateful for the warranty. I will admit the attachments that come with the tool are some of the worst quality, two snapped at the base, one just burns the wood instead of cutting... even the cheap attachments brought off eBay have lasted 4 times as long as the ozito made tools, especially the sander, the sand paper doesn't even attach to the Velcro, yet the ones i brought on eBay have no issues.
