Don't bother. Please, it's cheap for a reason. I seriously bought one thinking I will only using it to paint a high ceiling 1000mmx5000mm which would be a pain using a roll. It only lasted for 2thirds of the way of the first coat before smoke came out of it. I couldn't even be bothered returning it as I gave up hope with Bunnings and I lay the blame on myself for taking thst decision to beging with.

If you need a paint sprayer I would suggest you spend a bit more for a better quality product. The quality of this Ozito tool is very poor. The plastic used for the trigger mechanism is waxy and looks and feels cheap. The spring on the spray adjustment knob is also of the level of quality you might associate with a toy from a Christmas cracker. I bought this to 'give it a go' and it failed on the very first use. The trigger mechanism stuck, so the sprayer continued to spray *even when I had let go of the trigger*. Not exactly what you want when using a paint sprayer. The best thing about the whole experience was that Bunnings, fair play to them, accepted the return of the faulty sprayer without a quibble, and I got a full refund. Sad to see this - virtually a ... MoreIf you need a paint sprayer I would suggest you spend a bit more for a better quality product. The quality of this Ozito tool is very poor. Sad to see this - virtually a 'single-use-plastic' item go to landfill - but is it my responsibility for being so cheap? Or the corporate world for manufacturing and selling such low-quality products? My recommendation is to avoid this product.

Have a bit of a love / hate relationship with this one. When it works, it is a great time saver, but it really seems to struggle when covering larger areas. Used it to paint the inside of my garage recently, and for the first pot it is fine, but it is unpredictable whether it is going to do a second. Am sure there is a trick to it, and it may be that it just gets too hot. The label on it says for DIY use only, so if you have a large area to paint, investing in a higher end model is probably worth it.

Very reasonably priced and works well. This is the second one I've bought for a property interstate.I painted a weatherboard garage with this and it makes light work of a tedious job. Works like a dream. The trick is to thin the paint exactly as recommended and not to spray too heavily. Wind the trigger knob right back and then adjust up. That way you avoid any paint running. The hardest part is cleaning the gun after painting, but also necessary for continued easy use. Recommend.
I bought this to use with metallic automotive spray paint, as I have an older car that has issues with the clearcoat, so it needs a fair bit of attention. I used this to spray a front quarter panel to another shade to match the car, some touch up patches on the car itself, and a couple layers of clearcoat. It wont be showroom quality, but a lot better results than the Duplicator aerosol cans, and works out better value by the end of it. I just mixed up the acrylic car paint and clearcoat to the manufacturers recommendations, and am very happy.
I’ve recently purchased & I regret not buying sooner!!! I have just painted a picket fence - first half with a brush, they had brush strokes & it was un-even, my arm was killing me, so I cracked it & bought this. I didn’t expect much for the price but this thing is fantastic. Perfect spray every time. It has a great viscosity range. Mine was 60 seconds & it was perfect - not too thick, not too thin. I’m a big fan of this product - Literally spent Christmas lunch talking about it, can’t wait to use it again today
If you're looking to spray a fence very quickly and cheaply, and you don't care about the finish, or major overspray, this might be the sprayer for you. If you want a good finish on a surface where a bad finish will show up, perhaps this isn't the right one.I found the sprayer would throw out a lot of paint very fast, with a lot of overspray, and with lots of large droplets. These formed paint blobs about 1-2mm across on the surface (see picture). Despite adjusting my distance, angle and the sprayer dial, I couldn't get the sprayer to produce an even spray, and it wasn't possible to evenly fill the surface. I tried compensating by spraying more, but it (unsurprisingly) led to paint runs (see picture). As a test, the paint brushed on fine before thinning, and I ... MoreIf you're looking to spray a fence very quickly and cheaply, and you don't care about the finish, or major overspray, this might be the sprayer for you. I tried compensating by spraying more, but it (unsurprisingly) led to paint runs (see picture). As a test, the paint brushed on fine before thinning, and I didn't have a problem with clogging that others reported. The paint was Haymes low-sheen water-based acrylic, with water as thinner, as recommended by Haymes. Surface was a well-prepped vertical panel. Test was done outside. The image that comes to mind for this product is squirting paint into a leaf blower. Definitely not a precision tool!I haven't bothered cleaning the head part, as it's going straight in the bin (waste of money). The air blower I might keep for another project.
This tools is good if you're not particular of how the surface paint finish is such as Garden Fence or Garden bench painting jobs. However if you're looking for more precise detailing paint job then this tools is not good for the job. You'll be better off using paint spray attachment for a compressor rather than this type of spray gun. However my experience is only in using this All in One Spray Gun, so i could not say much with other more expensive branded tools.
4 star only because you can only fill paint up to 800mls otherwise such a easy spray gun to use. I am not a pro at painting and this was my first time to use a spray gun. After i worked out how thin my paint my paint needed to be to be suitable for the gun it was all go go go from there. Luckily for me my paint was water based so i only needed to use water to thin my paint out. The instructions are pretty simple DIN took me a while to figure out but its pretty much how thick/thinness the pain was. For this gun it had to be a DIN 30 meaning when you fill paint in the little measuring cup provided it should be empty in 30 seconds this will mean your paint is thin enough to use in the spray gun. Hope my explanation makes sense and hope it helps a newbie like me.
I did the undercoat by hand and I wish I never did. This machine saves a lot of time! All I can say is, be very precise and patient with taping and using plastic sheets or old news papers!I bought this today, read a lot of reviews on it. And if you follow the instructions very straight forward.First thing I did was run warm water through the machine to test it out and see how it worked and played with the settings. I wound the trigger in 60-70% of the way and found it was good enough.Paint viscosity is the most important step.I went 1Litre of paint to 600-650mls of water. I used warm water also.Ran it through this viscosity cup and got a time of 22/23 seconds! My first one was 18/19 seconds so I added a bit of paint.Put it in, and painted, I was painting ... MoreI did the undercoat by hand and I wish I never did. This machine saves a lot of time! This brick was inside and I taped every and used plastic to cover overspray and you better tap down really well as the machine moves a bit of air and can flap your plastic sheet around a fair bit.I rate this over painting brick with a brush and roller which I have before and it bloody tedious doing it that way! The only down side to using this inside is the “paint dust” it leaves in the house, I wasn’t super worried but be prepared to clean everything if you are painting inside!
