I bought this as I am a home DIYer and a jigsaw is not something I would use everyday. Out of the box this thing felt good and did the job perfectly through some melamine board. Not sure how it would go for everyday use but for occasional use around the house I think its a brilliant little addition to my home setup.

Used this to cut 2mm acrylic; 4.2mm masonite; and some 4mm oak strips. I did also buy a couple of decent 24tpi (i.e. 24 teeth per inch) blades at the Bunnings tool shop for those tasks though. Cuts weren't perfect but fine for the purpose as those edges were being covered with coverstrips. Less than 40 bucks - bargain !

I bought this to cut some big holes for a DIY project and worked flawlessly. I have used the original blades for a while and not a single problem. 1 warning is to watch the temp. All-in-all great tool for a cheap price. Definitely using it for future projects.

Great little tool. Easy to use and concise instructions. Good value for money. Would recommend.
Bought for under $50 NZ and despite being the cheapest jigsaw on the market it's actually been really good. I'd recommend buying new blades first, but it came with 2 wood and a metal which are OK (nice to have as you can use it out of the box). Detaching blades can be a little fiddly sometimes but it seems to be easier when the blade is fully extended. Also if you're using a vacuum attachment you'll want to glue in the adaptor because it's quite loose and only needs to rotate about 1cm before coming loose.
Good little machine, but DO NOT LEAVE the store without buying some proper saw blades! For this price they had to save some money, and that was on the blades, which I'm fine with.
Basically junk. Blade moves latterly making it impossible to get a straight cut.
The great quality of Ozito products versus the low prices are always impressive, this jigsaw is outstanding value, the blades aren't the best, however I just purchased upgraded blades and now it cuts anything. The variable speed is also a great bonus...
I bought this to cut a hole in our laundry door for a dog door, had no issues cutting through a 40mm door (albeit hollow) in a straight line around a rectangular shape.
It’s my first jigsaw and I’m just a hobbyist, so have no need to push it beyond it’s capabilities. That said, at times i have gotten lazy on the safety, but it’s still performed excellently. On the recommendations of previous reviewers, i bought some extra blades but don’t have the bank for diablo blades. Instead I got the 2pk powerfit universal blades (10tpi) since they were cheap ~$7. They fit perfectly and do the job (I’ve just been working with pine of various sizes). No complaints so far.
