Bought it for a small off-grid project. Honestly wasn’t expecting much but was pleasantly surprised. Mitre cuts are accurate and surprisingly clean even with the supplied blade - buy yourself a nice 60t blade and they’re flawless. Motor is a little underpowered but what do you expect from an 18v tool - if you want to cut thicker hardwood, just slow down a little and you’ll have no problems.Overall, cheap as chips and works a treat. Only thing that’d make it better would be some slide rails - it’d be nice to cut boards wider than 120mm without having to flip it.

OK, you can not compare this with a 2800W saw, but still putting out a good punch especially kiln dried, soft/hardwood stock. One 4Ah battery gives you more than 50 cuts - which is quite good when mains or generated power in not at hand. It would have been a lot more powerful if Ozito could make it a dual 18V (32v) system.

Very happy with this saw which I’ve had for 3 months.Gives a very fine cut. Great for mitre cuts as angles very true.Has a good long guarantee.Got two 4ah batteries which will do all day.Got this as move to new house meant no room for my big sliding mitre saw. This is very light so no problem to move around and no power cord to trip over

I’ve been using this the past year and it’s been great. It handles cuts well and the portability and size is excellent. You get quite a good amount of use with a 4ah battery. I’ve cut timber from framing to skirting with this.Unfortunately over time the fence has gone out of square. The manual tells you how to resquare it. The upper fence is bad as when you tighten it will push past the lower fence, thus pushing your piece out of square. I would not use that if you were needing accurate cuts.Overtime the laser will also clog with dust and need to be cleaned.Overall a good saw for the value!
I returned his tool for credit because of the sawdust filling the room in my house that I wanted to use this tool in. I chose a battery version because of its lower cutting speed to reduce sawdust but it makes it in spades. The machine is well made with some great features. If you want to use it outside or in a shed it would be a great tool. Insde your house to much sawdust
For the price it is exceptionally good value.Bought it to do basic renovations and bus conversion, has all that is required.If you are wanting true precision and ‘perfect’ mitres, then spend the money on the top of the range. If you have the skill sets to make do, this is just fine.Most home handymen won’t need more, and remember it is aimed at the home handyman market.Professional tradesmen use higher end tools and pay for them, and the tools pay for themselves.Home handyman, for price and warranty (5 year tool, 2 year battery) can’t be beat. You can’t justify spending for top end unless your a tradesman.
Got tired of carting my big Dewalt around so purched this for finishing work.Underpowered but realy good value,you just need to always have a sharp blade and fully charged battery.Would recommend
Wow. Brought this for a joke. Everyone had a laugh. Feels like a toy but Gdamn, things unreal. Doing repairs on flood damaged units, didn’t want to lug a drop saw up and down stairs for small jobs, saw this, felt the weight, borrowed the Father-in-laws batteries and viola!! it works a treat on skirting or any soft woods within reason. Will it cut and pump frames out all day? Definitely not, But it’s light and accurate when used correctly. If this got stolen on site or destroyed, I’d buy another and keep it for small fix outs for when I’m too lazy to set up a real drop saw. Unreal tool, highly recommended in the right conditions.
Bought for small, quick jobs to save from getting out and plugging in my 305mm saw. With 4ah battery, found it lacking power and often cuts-out halfway through a cut even on soft wood (interior pine) and must cut VERY slowly. For the extra time it takes to cut, you save more time and frustration just plugging in an electric one. Unless you absolutely need it remotely with no access to electricity, save $30 and get the corded one, or better still, pay $50 more for the 210mm corded sliding one.
I bought it 2 years ago and it is still going strong. I have even built a 40 sqm hardwood deck with it. I have done numerous cuttings with it throughout the years. Highly recommend it.
