I'm a huge Ozito fan, ever since the helpful man at Bunnings recommended the brand 2 years ago. I'm really impressed with this lawn mower. I brought a combo: Lawn Mower, Weed Eater, 2x 3A batteries & a double charger for $299NZD. I was paying $40 every 2 weeks to have my lawns cut. So my ROI (return on investment) 7.5 fornites (15 weeks) The lawn mower is easy to use, just charge the battery on the fast charger (less than an hour) & you're away. The lawn mower is light, so very easy to push around. It has 3 adjustable heights, which are easy to change. The catches clicks in & out smoothly. Another great Ozito product.

Used this with a 3.0 ah battery. Works well but would be better if I had the 5.2 ah for cutting long grass. Not noisey, not heavy, and cuts through grass well. (It’s ridged plastic.)Then place the black (bottom half) on top. (This part has more flex) Line up all the tabs to the corresponding holes.Firmly hold the assembly from the bottom, apply pressure to the top and the tabs will snap into place. The black part is flexible but it’s made that way so there’s a bit of give when locating the tabs into the hole. The red part is more rigid and you use this as a stable ... MoreUsed this with a 3.0 ah battery. Easy to use, light weight, perfect for quick cut.

As I have ended up in a plastic ski boot for the following 6 weeks plus, I had to find a solution to help my wife cut the grass on our nature strip. As I already have 18v azito tools, it figured a good start to get an azito skin for lawn mower which would be easy and light weight to use. Amazing decision. Hardest part is convincing the Mrs that it was a Christmas pressy 🎅🏻🤪👍

Get a Ryobi instead my dudes
9 March 2023

Can't recommend. Bought one less then a year ago and it's shot. I have a small backyard and I thought this could handle the job but apparently not. Battery needs replacing already. Wheels are so fragile they continually break. I have to mow once a week otherwise the grass becomes too long for it. Spend a little more on a Ryobi. If you want to risk it, keep your receipt.

Perfect for small lawns
14 April 2020

I bought this mower with a battery and charger on the recommendation of a friend who has had one for about 4 years and it is still going strong. On first appearances the mower looks fragile but it performs beautifully on my small lawns and nature strip. After 20 -30 minutes mowing the battery is less than half drained. After mowing, the lawns are perfectly even with no ridges left. I agree with other reviewers that the battery compartment could be better designed but for the price it is acceptable to me. Whilst much of the mower is plastic I expect reasonably long service. Time will tell. At just 10 Kg, I would prefer this mower over much heavier petrol driven mowers and with my friend's experience I am confident that I will get a number of trouble-free years of ... MoreI bought this mower with a battery and charger on the recommendation of a friend who has had one for about 4 years and it is still going strong. I would definitely recommend this mower for good results on small lawns up to 150 SqM.

Perfect little cordless mower, good power and great value for price.
22 February 2023

I bought this several years ago online as a kit with fast charger and 3.0Ah battery and it has more than paid for itself. I initially bought it to cut a small patch of grass about 5m2, thinking that's all it would be able to handle. But I've been using it for all my garden which is about 200m2. Of course I have to take a break to charge the battery, but it's been handling this every few weeks for at least 5 years. Now I'm about to buy my second battery for it as it's dying, but the mower is still going strong. If it breaks, I will buy another one exactly the same. Its lightweight, easy to handle, easy to store, easy to assemble by myself, even the catcher I found ok with a bit of determination.

Premium level toy for children.
2 August 2021

I purchased this for myself and took it back the next day. It is however great for kids. It's a kind of toy-grade mower that actually does cut grass. It's small too, just the right height for younger people. It's great value for a Christmas or birthday gift for a child that does actually work unlike the plastic mowers that blow bubbles. So unless you have a small lawn, Something that can be completed in under 10 minutes, I would not recommend this mower. Ozito often have 2 models/versions of all their power tools. There's often a premium level toy-grade, and then the proper version for your household requirements. So take this into consideration.

Risky but worth it
10 October 2020

The grass catcher is difficult to put together but not impossible- have to really press on the black parts to join the halves. This mower works well and is easy and light to use. I bought a heavy duty battery which added to the costs ($100+) but this gives me a 30min approx run time and charging is quick. My yard is bigger than the specified size and it does a good job. The noise level is low and pleasant. Doesn’t work well on uneven ground. My biggest gripes are that its a little short on the handles ( I’m not tall) and it doesn’t cut at a lower level even though it says it does. I am happy with this product and don’t miss the petrol mower. Great warranty too!

Terrible, cheap design
17 January 2022

This is a terribly design piece of cheap plastic. Don’t buy it if you have any hand issues. It was so hard to put the catcher together, incredibly bad height adjustment design. The key goes in first which means you have to take the battery out to get to it. It’s hard to get the battery out. The best thing about it is it’s light. If you can do yourself a favour and buy the 2 battery model. I loved mine . It was sturdy and a way better design. Batteries and charger were still good which is why I went for this model.I wish I didn’t.

needs 5.2ah batteries to perform on thicker grass
15 January 2021

I brought this mower with 3ah batteries on sale. It normally sells for $200 it was $169. To get it to mow my lawn when wet or thick ( as in wet season when green, not parched and dry) it did not have the torque and kept stalling on areas of the lawn and could only do a third on a single charge, very frustrating. This is mowing it every 2 weeks or less. I shelled out for 2 x 5.2ah batteries as a gamble it would fix the issue. It's a different lawn mower with these batteries. It actually works as I would have expected, doesn't stall and does the entire lawn. So it's not a $200 lawn mower, its a $400 lawn mower. You buy it at a reduced price and end up having to buy bigger batteries to get it actually to do the job you need it to do. Its a roll of the dice, will it or ... MoreI brought this mower with 3ah batteries on sale. It normally sells for $200 it was $169.
