They cost about $500 to $600 each so when it was time again to replace I bought this little brushless Ozito for $75 to see how it compared to the Makitas, & boy has it worked an absolute treat. I bought this to undo wheel nuts (lug nuts) and general home workshop, such as changing mower blades, instead of using my dewalt impact driver with a socket adaptor (which kept breaking on the tight stuff). It does that great. It's a $99 impact wrench with a rated power of 215nm. Remember that before you buy it then get sad that it won't undo stuff that you've been swinging your all you weight off a big breaker bar trying to undo or tighten, as that's going to be well over what this tool is designed for or capable of. I tested it and in the real world, with a fully charged 4ah battery (battery size can affect power in some tools) it takes off wheel nuts torqued to around 120nm easily (the recommended torque for lots of cars and 4wds), and maxes out at about 155 to ... MoreI bought this to undo wheel nuts (lug nuts) and general home workshop, such as changing mower blades, instead of using my dewalt impact driver with a socket adaptor (which kept breaking on the tight stuff). It would go a little bit higher but you would be rattling on it for ages and shortening the life of the tool.

This is a great product. I used Bosch for work but now I'm retired it don't want to outlay the extra money. I have been using Ozito tools now for some time and have gained quite a collection. I am yet to find one that does not please. This Impact Driver is another that is performing well at a great price. I would recommend this to anyone that want good equipment at good prices.

Great little machine
22 March 2023

Bought this to build a retaining wall - Using 150mm screws, driving through wet timber. My high powered drill was struggling and this little beauty was recommended by a friend. I actually couldn't believe how effortlessly it drives in the screws (I attached a 1/2"-1/4" bit adapter). The bit did not slip once in the screwhead and I needed very little downward pressure (easily use with one hand) - I'm hugely impressed and wish I had purchased one of these years ago. Furthermore, a 4Ah battery seems to go on forever.

Great quality and excellent value
22 May 2021

I'm more than satisfied with its quality, durability, performance and value. I like the steel nose section and also the design of X3 led lights which perform well. I've bought this as a part of a brushless kit, with drill driver 2X 2.0 batteries and fast charger. Compared to The Ozito brushless drill driver, it's external protective shell is made more durably. Also my advice, having used a 2.0ah battery with this unit, it works, but you will appreciate using one with larger capacity. The Ozito Brushless drill drivers rear section has thin, flimsy, NON 'protective' rubber webbing. The section surrounding the top rear screw tore shortly after from regular usage.

This would definitely be the greatest value for money tool I’ve ever bought. I bought it only to use for a few weeks whilst my Bosch drill gets repaired and I expected very little from it, but at $50 I really didn’t have much to lose. The tool has completely exceeded my expectations, and this is coming from a full time tradesman carpenter. It has had no problem at all in doing all the things my expensive Bosch impact does. I saw all the good reviews on it before buying the tool but still had doubts, we’ll they’ve been blown away. Couldn’t be happier with it. Im incredibly impressed

Useless

Bought a week ago. I have numerous Oxito tools, drill, grinder, circular saw, edge trimmer, lawn mower. I got this as I was building a pergola. It would not drive in a Pryda 35mm hex screw into pine. It just rattled gave up and refused. I switched to my oxito cordless drill and that did it no problem. Waste of money, unless you wanna go pre drill everything.

I purchased this yesterday for a big job today.Great results from this tool.My previous 1/2 inch drive impact wrench was a B*** blue professional 18V Lithium. As I only work on cars at home, I have never wanted/needed anything more heavy duty or air operated.Wheel nuts tightened by various tyre fitters can be way tight. The Blue tool could not undo most wheel (lug) nuts, so I always used a breaker bar and socket to crack them, and then quickly remove using the impact wrench. All other bolts like caliper bolts, suspension bolts were a bit in the same boat, some would be ok with the blue tool some required more heavy duty cracking with a bar then rattle quickly off with the impact wrench.I just put this down to the fact the smaller impact wrench (which is ... MoreI purchased this yesterday for a big job today.Great results from this tool.My previous 1/2 inch drive impact wrench was a B*** blue professional 18V Lithium. As I only work on cars at home, I have never wanted/needed anything more heavy duty or air operated.Wheel nuts tightened by various tyre fitters can be way tight. i already had a good hikoki impact driver, but i bought this when i was building a large retaining wall around the house in winter, thought for the price it doesn't matter if it got beat up/jammed down the back of the wall and covered in mud/ rained on.it hasn't got as much torque as others i have used (has less than my cordless drill), but it fired in 14g 100ml bugles easy enough. I've treated this thing pretty badly over the past couple of years and i've been impressed its still holding up being used on all the really dirty jobs or when its raining (building raised beds, fencing etc)wouldn't hesitate in buying another, has stood up to abuse well
