Picked this up for small Reno tasks around the home. Great bit of kit, but I'd recommend having two 4 amp batteries for larger jobs, such as a slat bench reno. Significant flaw is difficulty in finding hook and loop sandpaper, but does take standard roll paper, but I find the spring securing clips a tad weak, so I had to bend them to strengthen the grip; Second issue is that the grips are close to the edge of the pad, and it's a fiddly fit, meaning the s/paper can be loose, which reduces sanding efficiency and tears up the paper fairly rapidly. That said though, gave me a near translucent finish W/240 gn paper on a Jarrah slat bench (tip: use the ozito multi tool on difficult sanding spots, the higher vibe speed does the job). Happy with the sander. It’s just hard to find replacement hook and loop pads.
Punches well above its weight..use the bigger battery for some more oomph..only gripe is it came with only one sheet of sandpaper..but hey..it’s brilliant..
I had to buy a charger and a battery separately. I had no idea what 'skin only' means and it was only after picking it up and opening the packet that I noticed. Would be easier if your website stated this in a more matter of fact way. I feel like I spent more money than I needed to and could have bought something that included all the parts.
Ozito PXTSS-018 1/3d sheet Sander. I already had the battery as I have an Ozito Power drill. At first I thought this was a great machine, plenty of oomph! I had about 1 1/2 sq metres of kitchen bench top with old polyurethane coating to remove. I found the bag a total dead loss. Ozito say only let the bag get 1/3rd full before emptying. So thats about 3 teaspoons. So I had to take bag off & sand without it & surround myself with polyurethane dust. I do not like the hook and clip method of attaching sandpaper, all sheets tore at the weak point, the right hand top corner because of a screw location. I had to revert to an old Skill machine found in the shed that was 25 years old. Fully charged battery lasts 1/2 hour, thats nothing with sanding. I spoke to Ozito today complaining about the use of sanding sheets and the way they always tear (sometimes there is not a mark on the sanding sheet, so theres heaps of life in it) but sandpaper tears at top edge and they said take it back to Bunnings for refund, thats what I am doing.Side Note: I bought a s/h Ozito 1/3rd sheet from Marketplace at weekend. When I looked at it at home the rubber pad started crumbling in my hands. No problem, seller has agreed to refund me. When I told Ozito about it, they said, It came out in 2009, no spare parts. Yet I was able to use a 25 year old SKIL machine that I found in my shed, no rubber there, felt. Rubber does not hold up in Australia over the years, Beware of this. Ive found this a problem with quite a few items.

I find this cordless sander exceeded expectations with consistent power & long running time. Very handy, particularly for outdoor sanding jobs where a power cord is not an option. Excellent value.
